It still seems like the longest book I ever read, but the story was good. : )
I am reading Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen, The Almost Moon by Alice Sebold, The Forgotten Garden by Kate Morton and Lucky by Alice Sebold.
I loved "Water for Elephants" and after stewing on it, I did like "The Almost Moon". Very thought provoking book.
I have finished Lover Revealed Undead and Unreturnable Beyond the Highland Mist Tales from the Terrific Register: The Book of Ghosts One Foot in the Grave and I am reading Kushiel's Dart and Red-Headed Stepchild
I'm reading Deborah Coonts's Wanna Get Lucky? and I'm finding it to be a lot of fun. I needed a light read after Emma Donoghue's Room and before delving into the second book of the GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO trilogy: The Girl Who Played with Fire
I just finished A Million Little Pieces which I enjoyed more than I expected to. Now I'm starting Children of the Resolution.

I thought the stories were entertaining. A nice glimpse into Indian culture within the US however not always very uplifting storylines. Enjoy!
I just finished reading "Somthing Blue". At first I did not like it but as Darcy's character became more mature, I started enjoying more the book. I kept reading because I wanted to see what happened at the end. I just saw an ad on TV for a new movie being released in May --"Something Borrowed".

Sounds interesting! I'm glad it found it entertaining! :) I'm looking forward to it.
I finished another Cornelia Funke book The Thief Lord and I start to reallya dore her books. Fourth book and all absolutely great. Into the second part of Mussolini.
Finished Outlander by Diana Gabaldon. Continuing Three To Get Deadly by Janet Evanovich.
Starting(again)The Invisible Mountain by Carolina De Robertis
I'm about halfway through Alice's Adventures in Wonderland & Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll, and am hoping to get through The White Queen by Philippa Gregory too. Not off to a great start as I'm not getting on with the voice very well but I love a bit of historical romance based around the monarchy so will keep on trucking with it.
I seem to really like Philippa Gregory's books but ouch I had to drag me through Alice's adventures. I took me such a long time and I really didn't like it.
I'm reading "The #1 Ladies Detective Agency" Alexander McCall Smith. I started it about a week or so ago and couldn't get into it but I think I was in a slump. I tried again and am now enjoying it.
Mafalda wrote: "I'm reading

Scott wrote: "I just finished A Game of Thrones. Now I'm going to start Death Mask. My first foray into Masterton."
What did you think of A Game of Thrones? It's one of my all time favorites!! Did you catch the HBO's premiere of A Game of Thrones? Did you like it?
I started City of Fallen Angels yestarday and don't like alot being finished with it. Its been really good so far just a little too much teen drama for my taste.
I'm currently reading Practical Demonkeeping by Christopher Moore. My husband has been trying to convince me for years to read this book (or any other by Mr. Moore!).
I'm reading Noble House by James Clavell. It's the first Clavell book I've tried, and I'm addicted. People say Shogun is even better.
I am reading The Night Season (Gretchen Lowell, #4). I enjoyed the first two quite a bit, the third in the series less so, but let us see what is next for poor Archie.
I finished City of Fallen Angels and when it was all said and done I was pretty disappointed. Too much teen love life drama and not enough cohesive storyline.
I've recently finished Wolves of the Calla and The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and started up The Maverick Experiment and The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde: And Other Tales of Terror.
Dani wrote: "I'm currently reading The Book Thief by Markus Zusak and loving it!"I just finished that book and thought it was amazing!!
I just started Don't Tell by Karen Rose!! It sucked me in from page one!! Wow, now I want to read all her books!!

I couldn't finish The Book Thief. I think it was just time constraints so I'm planning on trying again at some point.
I'm reading The Black Dahlia for my book club. Not a huge fan - it never takes me this long to read a book. Maybe it's just because it's not something I would normally gravitate to, or maybe it's just not that good? I don't know.I'm also listening to Edgar Sawtelle (long drives to work); so far, so good. I really love some of his word choices. He uses paradox well.
Started
yesterday and am finding it fascinating. Have never read anything by Dave Eggers before, but am finding his style easily engaging.
Am (finally) starting Water for Elephants. I have been meaning to read this one for well over a year now. Figured now was as good a time as any, seeing as the movie hits theaters this weekend.
I'm looking forward to seeing "Water for Elephants" the movie. I think it's been long enough ago that I read the book that I won't be comparing it too much. : )
Wendy wrote: "I'm currently reading Practical Demonkeeping by Christopher Moore. My husband has been trying to convince me for years to read this book (or any other by Mr. Moore!)." I LOVE Moore. Hope you do too. I started with A Dirty Job though. Practical Demonkeeping is next on the Moore list.
Brenda wrote: "I started reading for my upcoming bookdisicussion group: Saving Ceecee Honeycutt"I loved this book! It was one of my favorites from last summer.
I just finished The Improper Life of Bezellia Grove: A Novel, and I'm reading Left Neglected, it's so very good!! I'm listening to The Weird Sistersequally fascinating.

After season one, the series departs almost completely from the books. The main character is in keeping with the book, as is his sister, but after that, its pretty much all new stuff. But the season with John Lithgow is fantastic.
