Muphyn Hello all,

I'm new to the group - and I'm so blown away by this challenge! I can't believe someone thought up something so wonderfully intricate and fun!! I'm still trying to get my head around it and fully understand it but I'd love to join in at some point!

Hi Amy, awesome!! Can you point me to an existing post/thread where it's all explained again - just so I can get my head around and you don't have to explain it all again! :)

message 60: by Amy (new)

Amy If you go back to the very beginning of this thread, there's the challenge rules. If you also go to challenge 8 Discussion, there is a ton of explanation. But if you have specific questions, I don't mind answering.

I do now! That's the best thing about goodreads, people are recommending awesome books I might not have picked up otherwise! I'm getting the other ones on loan from the library. :)

message 67: by Amy (new)

Amy Some of my favorite reads have been from what OTHERS have read on here. I'm addicted to goodreads for that reason.

Karis Jacobstein (yalitwit) | 419 comments Amy- I was so confused as to why your point totals are so far off from mine, but I think I figured it out... I was giving myself 5 base points for every book, instead of 10 for challenge books. I'm sharing my spreadsheet with you.

Amy Kellee....double checked and according to my list you have 70.

Izzy......I have you down for 25. I'll go back and check in the morning and make sure I didn't miss any postings.

Lisa....you're right! forgot to add the genre points for will grayson. I'll go back and fix it.

Karis.....thanks! Me and the computer often have issues so I made a challenge sheet for everyone and have been writing in titles, points, pages and then marking them off as I update. It's been a lot of work but fun too!

If everyone could add page numbers to their updates that would be awesome!

Amy Kristen........so amazed that you can read two books in one day. I'm lucky if I can read ten pages in a day lately.

Kellee.....for Scorpia Rising you get 10 for reading it, and then I believe you claimed action/adventure genre for five points.

Thanks Amy! I have weekends mostly free and try to spend them reading because during the week I usually don't get much reading in.

Thanks for the response :)
It was the second Patriotic Main Character book I read, though, isn't it worth only 5 points or are the challenges just worth 10 no matter what?
