First time with this challenge, but I'm going to give it a try! Seems like fun:) What happens if someones suggest a book someone has already read? I try to keep my Read books updated, but well you know how it goes.......
Shellbelle, you will get 6-8 recommendations. Generally about half of these are from your TBR list. That helps get your TBR down a little and gives the picker some sort of guideline. You'll see how it works. Don't worry. Oh, and if you don't like ANY of your picks, you could always ask for something different (although I'm not sure anyone has ever done that so it might be considered bad form). This challenge more than any other has broadened the scope of what I read. Go into it with an open mind and enjoy.

Please add me! This challenge is so much fun to do. I am now looking forward to seeing what is on people's shelves.

For instance my tbr is full of books I've already read prior to joining goodreads but I want to rate all my books so they are on my tbr shelf to read and rate. So it doesn't matter if you select a book I've already read. (Plus I'm a re-reader anyway :)
Really don't worry too much about it, it's really really rare that you won't find something that you want to read, although you may find some recommendations challenge your reading tastes a little (it is a challenge after all).
If you're worried go read through the posts on the March pick it for me, you'll get a feel of how it works and the lighthearted and warm manner it's done in.
and just remember the rule - always recommend lots of historicals to photojim ;) (devil-ish grin)(insert sarcasm here)Tania wrote: "Shellbelle wrote: "Photojim wrote: "Shellbelle, you will get 6-8 recommendations. I think it's time for a name change for you. Delicious Dee - Satan's Mistress.I wouldn't wish that on my enemies and this is how you treat your friends?
*shakes head and dries a tear from his cheek*
