Yes, sometimes I hate hackers, but right now I'm not sure how I feel. Some months back, I got tired of authors I didn't know friending me, for the sole purpose of having a large number of "friends" to inundate with their personal spam. So I did an assholey thing (surprise, surprise), and set up my account so no one could friend request me without first answering a question.
The Question: What is the capital of North Dakota?
The Answer: 42
So I have been friend request-free for several months. But a few days ago someone friend requested me. Barring the possibility of a GR glitch, this guy/gal (username makes it difficult to tell) somehow managed to get through my security question. To sum up, I do kind of hate this, but I can't help but be impressed/confused.
I almost bought "Mostly Harmless" yesterday, but then I read the reviews and decided that I'd rather not finish the series with a bad taste in my mouth. Has anyone read that last book, or the detective series?
