I know he will. ;-) Haha.Man, all this talk about the Mercy Thompson series makes me want to read it right now. I've only read through the third book. Guess I know what I'm getting next from the library. Lol.
Yeah, I think Anna deserves Charles, I'm not tangling with an Omega, thanks. And thanks for the offer of the whip Zaanodes, but I've got the official SOS sanctioned Whip right here, just ready for use on the unsuspecting Adam thieves. LOL.
Well, back to business for a second....I have finished my book for the demon shelf.
Personal Demons by Lisa DesrochersMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book was H-O-T HOT!! I'm talking like the very depths of Hell hot too. Haha.
Luc's a demon, Gabe's an angel, and they're both after Frannie's soul. Luc just needs to get her to sin. Then, he can tag her soul for Hell, and the job's done. Sounds easy, right? That's what Luc initially thinks too.
Turns out Frannie is extra special, that's why Heaven and Hell are sending their best angels and demons after her soul. Luc quickly finds out that this job might not be as simple as it seems. Gabe showing up to keep Frannie on the good side certainly doesn't make things easier for Luc.
Really enjoyed reading this. Can't say I feel bad for Frannie having two hotties fighting over her. I wished I was in her position.
Now I can't wait for the next one,
. Only a little less than 3 months to go.
You may now continue fighting over Adam. Or maybe set up some kind of schedule to share him. Just a suggestion. Lol.
@Nairabell: Finally had a chance to read the review--very nice and certainly encouraging for reading it...someday! LOL...@Alyssa: Another one added to my TBR!!
I finished
for UF tonight...but have to take care of RL before I can put up my review et. al...tomorrow!

Hey, ladies. I've got an off-topic question for you all. I'm doing this thing where I need to find 3 books with a character named Star in them. I really can't think of any. I may have not even read a book with a character named Star in it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! :-D
Sandra wrote: "Haven't read any of these but found them by searching characters -

[bookcover:Into the Gar..."Thanks!
How did you search characters!? /sigh
I went the roundabout way - I picked a book, went to the edit page and scrolled down to characters & put in Star and then figured out which book they were and picked the most likely ones. And I meant to add that Personal Demons has been added to my tbr thanks to your review :)
Personal Demons sounds good, Alyssa. Thanks for the review. I think I've caught up on everyone's choices and completed reads, please let me know if I've missed ya.

Kitty's House of Horrors by Carrie VaughnMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Monsters come in all forms, and those that where a "non-monster" form are often the worst.
Kitty somewhat reluctantly agrees to do a reality show that reunites her (and us) with some of the interesting characters from previous installments of her tale. Vaughn provides foreshadowing of the battle to come, and keeps the pace flowing and tension building until the finale. That finale will also make you eager to grab the next story in the series.
The characters are solid, and Kitty has her usual charm and frankness. Overall, a very satisfying read!

I'm not sure about the demons shelf yet... I am almost finished with Sisters Red, and I think I'll read The Other Side of Life as urban-fantasy.I'm sorry I'm behind once again.. There were exams, and now I have a sprained wrist that makes it quite hard to hold a book as usual. We'll have our next stamp before the end of the week!
Hang in there, Celine, and it's good to hear from you! Having just started the new semester, I can empathize (though from the other side of the desk)!
Celine wrote: "...I'm sorry I'm behind once again.. There were exams, and now I have a sprained wrist that makes it quite hard to hold a book as usual..."No worries, Celine.
Hope you did well on the exams. Don't let your education suffer but try to keep a balance as best as you can!
Hope your wrist is better soon!
Hope you'll get better soon Celine and good luck with the exams! :)I'll be reading River Marked for the urban fantasy shelf.

Awww, thanks. I just hope that you guys enjoy it if you get the chance to read it. I don't usually not like many books. So, I don't know if I'm really a descent judge of what's actually good or not.
Judithe wrote: "My copy of that is FINALLY coming! Can't wait to get it! Hope you enjoy!"Mine just arrived today!! Can't believe how long it took. But, since I've read it, it's pretty little self went straight to my bookshelf.
Alyssa, no worries. I'm always nervous about recommending a book - in case the person/people don't like it as much as I did. :)
Thank you all for the kindness (:The exams went pretty well luckily, except a math exam. But hopefully I can retry that one.
Don't worry Alyssa, even if someone doesn't like it, we won't hold that against you, hehe. Everyone has a different taste (;
Celine wrote: "The exams went pretty well luckily..."Now, none of that. No luck involved. You worked for it. You earned it. Now you need to own it!
Zaanodes wrote: "Now, none of that. No luck involved. You worked for it. You earned it. Now you need to own it!"Definitely agree with Zaanodes on that!
Judithe wrote: "My copy of that is FINALLY coming! Can't wait to get it! Hope you enjoy!"Thank you Judithe, I can't wait to start reading it, I fel like reading a good book right now.:)
Congrats Celine on your exams!
Awww..... I love this group. I'm sooo glad I was accidentally signed up for the BINGO game. Lol. :-D

Okay guys, I've finished Sisters Red for the YA-fantasy shelve!I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
Sisters Red was quite different from what I expected. It emphasised a lot on the sisters aspect (could've guessed it though) which was a bit unusual in a book. The sisters March are two kick-ass werewolf-killing girls that I loved reading about. Sad thing is that I already guessed the massive big surprise of the book at page 50. It sucks when that happens.
Even though I couldn't really relate to the main characters, their voice was interesting. I quite enjoyed reading Sisters Red.
Stamp time! :D
Yay!!! New Stamp, please, Steph!!!Updated to Post #484

I am done with my Urban Fantasy book.Lord of Misrule read on 4/13/2011 3 stars.
This would have been 4 stars if the whole book would have been as good as the last few chapters. The beginning of the book just seemed so boring it was pretty much the characters running errands. I do like Shane and Claire's relationship and how they don't jump in the sack like every other teenager would. I am looking forward to see what happens next so hopefully my daughter has the next book.
/does stamp danceMaybe I should be reading instead of dancing. Haha.
I'm soo mad. I've been working like a ton this week. So, when I get off work I'm too tired to read. My book is feeling really neglected. :-(

You'll have to let us know what all the stamp dance entails so we can all join in :D
I finished
for the urban fantasy shelf. I finished it 4/13/11 and gave it 3 *'sWell, I just finished Nightwalker and for the first time in a while I am not sure what I thought of a book. It ended with a cliffhanger so I am sure I will go on to read the next one, but I never felt like I couldn't put it down. However, that isn't to say I didn't enjoy reading it because I did. The story was good, Mira was a likable lead character and I am intrigued by her relationship with the vampire hunter Danaus. Their storyline was not what I expected at all, but I found myself enjoying it more and more throughout the book. The book is definitely completely UF, there is little to no romance even in the book. The battle between the nightwalkers (vampires) and naturi (fey) is a bit slow to get into but it will be interesting to see where it leads. If you are a big UF fan, then you might want to check it out.
Alyssa wrote: "Awww..... I love this group. I'm sooo glad I was accidentally signed up for the BINGO game. Lol. :-D"LOL! We are too! And, sorry 'bout that! But, seems to have worked out for the best. :)
Heather, I think (hope) you'll find that the story w/Mira and Danaus only gets more and more interesting as the series goes on. I'm glad to hear you may check out #2. Congrats on your YA-F stamp, Sixie Chix! I'll be back soon with your updated bingo card. :)
