The new American movie? I'm not sure whether I want to see it or boycott it because there's a perfectly good (and very well filmed, I might add) Swedish movie that I really enjoyed.

I recently finished Pride and Prejudice, as I had heard about it for years but did not know the story. It's an excellent book and a lot better than what I was expecting.

I'm actually enjoying it quite well...I didn't think I was going to like it because it's a non-fiction but I am really getting into his story. It follows the thoughts of Renee Winters, whom when she lived in California her parents die. It seems that Renee a bizarre 'gift', there's this kind of invisible force that pulls her to dead bodies animal, human etc. She attends a school in Maine called Gottfried Academy, where she meet Dante. Dante Berlin is a kind of social outcast, but with Renee he is different and they get together and the headmistress takes an interest in them being a couple, for what I don't know, I'm only 68% through, but I find it interesting. I really like this book. I find it really hard to put it down once I've picked it up. Love it! I would recommend Dead Beautiful to anyone.

Hahaha, yes, the Song of Ice and Fire hardbacks are on the ultra heavy side!!

I just finished Marian's Christmas Wish by Carla Kelly today... only a month after the end of the festive season. I won the book in a giveaway and started it before X-mas but never finished it. Figured I'd better finish it now before the season is well and truly behind us and spring hits!
