Lani (crahfty) | 253 comments Just finished The Scorch Trials. I was disappointed by the lack of any answers, but still found the book moved the storyline and kept things interesting.

Now I'm reading I Now Pronounce You Someone Else. I like it so far. It's a light, witty read.

(Scorch Trials) It's hard to imagine that anything would justify what was done to those kids, Lani. I can't wait for the last book and an explanation.

Amanda (peanutty222) | 529 comments I am in the middle of The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff and the book is just weird. Creepy and weird.

Free shipping if you're in the U.S! Love that site haha."

Thanks for sharing. Checked it out and ended up buying several books on my TBR list I have been waiting for at the library (way to small for our area) for sometime. The books were on their clearance list for $3.00 each and no shipping how could I resist!

message 4218: by Rach (new)

Rach | 1 comments I just finished the hunger games trilogy, and I loved it. It's not the average young adult fiction and reminds me of Fire and Graceling by Kristen Cashore. I read the trilogy in under a week.

message 4219: by Tintin (new)

Tintin (marimorimo) | 40 comments Wendy wrote: READ Hunger Games!"

Don't worry, Wendy. I finished reading Hunger Games last night :) I usually don't like racing to finish a book, but Hunger Games was just too 'unputdownable'! And yes, it lived up to the hype. The bookstore didn't have paperback copies of Catching Fire left, so it's on backorder now.

In the meantime, I continued reading
Graceling (The Seven Kingdoms, #1) by Kristin Cashore

message 4220: by Gwennie (new)

Gwennie (blessedwannab) You'll love Catching Fire too! Excellent series.

It wasn't as good as I thought it would be. There wasn't enough mermaid action for me.

Lani I did not like the end of Summer of Skinny Dipping. In fact, I hated it. But I don't know if you agree with my ratings or not so you might like it.

Thanks! Yes, I absolutely love it, Thnaks again for the heads up :-). I just got permission to review The Iron Queen (Iron Fey, #3) by Julie Kagawa ... so I am going to read it after I finish Angelfire (Angelfire, #1) by Courtney Allison Moulton . Which by the way is really good so far! :-D

Haha, fair enough! Let me know what you think when you're done :)

Ahh, wish I had more time to get through Finnikin of the Rock by Melina Marchetta . Tis my current read, but work keeps getting in the way! Gah.

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments I'm reading Liar still. Halfway through theres a shift in the story (and because of the book you don't know if it's true or not). I'm not sure how I feel about it.

And I'm listening to the second Bloody Jack--Curse of the Blue Tattoo. So far I don't know if I'm liking it as much as the first. Don't get me wrong I like it but Jacky seems to cry an inordinate amount and sometimes I just want to smack her as well as everyone else.

message 4248: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Cassi don't worry Jacky will grow back into your heart by the end!

Cassi aka Snow White Haggard | 2261 comments Heidi I wrote: "Cassi don't worry Jacky will grow back into your heart by the end!"

I just want to know that I'm not the only one who had this problem. (And I was her to stop the blasted crying lol)

Ha! You are not alone. She was quite mooney in that book. She is much better in book 3.
