Haven't gotten too far in yet, but I am definitely having trouble getting into the story. Hopefully it will pick up.
I'm reading my very first YA fiction book, Graceling. I'm quite surprised to find that I'm actually enjoying it. And I don't mean that I'm just getting through the book okay. I am really and truly enjoying it. Tonight, I'll finish it and likely move on to the next book in the series.

I'm starting
today.
Currently reading 'Cinder' by Merisaa Meyer and am absolutely speeding through it and loving it! Highly recommend it- don't let the weirdness of the blurb put you off!

I am new to this group but I think a good YA book is "Reconstructing Amelia" by Kimberly McCreight. It's about a teen who dies and it's up to her mother to find out what happened to her by going back through all her texts, Facebook conversations, tweets, blogs etc...
Finally started
and really enjoying it! I find myself reading it in a southern drawl to myself! I'm such a weirdo sometimes!
I finished the first 4 books of the Mortal Instruments in 2 weeks. Pretty good some were a 4 star and some were 5.
"Not a Drop to Drink" by Mindy McGuinnis. EXCELLENT book! Quick read, you don't want to put down. It take place in the not too distant future at a time when water has become more valuable than gold. It's about a mother & teen daughter who live on coveted property with a pond. The mother has raised her daughter to defend the pond at all costs. Lots of unexpected twists!

Just finished Just One Year and a re-read of Just One Day. Such a good story and so well crafted. Love Gayle Forman
I'm reading
, third book in the Ender's Game series. I think this guy is seriously one of the best writers that I've ever encountered. These books are so intellegent, so well crafted and so engaging!

Finished

. I'm not sure that I like it as much as Pushing the Limits, but it is still good.
Finally read the final Parasol Protectorate book:
I'm going to miss that series! Although I have put
on my to-read shelf, so my adventures with Ms. Carriger can continue.

I am glad I finally did. It is an excellent adventure about a kid that grew to be a man, learning about himself in the wild.
:) Great book!
I thought I may try to read Lord of the Flies again. We'll see.
