Jillian (cherybery1rocketmailcom) | 27 comments Clockwork Angel is slow until the second half of the book. Keep going!!! By the end of the first it gets more interesting and then the second books keeps up the pace. I actually really enjoyed them.

It's just goodreads wiggin' out. It's been doing that to me too. But the book you meant to post: Scarlet by A.C. Gaughen is awesome ;)

message 13057: by Melodie (new)

Melodie (melodieco) Finished Insurgent (Divergent, #2) by Veronica Roth ,which was WAY better than DIVERGENT. Now reading Black Dawn (The Morganville Vampires, #12) by Rachel Caine .

Heidi That is good to hear Melodie. I have been waiting for someone to update me on Insurgent who did not like Divergent.

I do the same thing. :) I'm driving my husband nuts muttering about deviations.

message 13062: by Tellulah (new)

Tellulah Darling (tellulahdarling) Read Real Mermaids Don’t Wear Toe Rings by Helene Boudreau From the description I thought it was going to be one kind of story. Then it turned into something else, switched yet again, and finally ended up being what I'd been thinking at the start. Plus it read younger than I had thought it would. Odd but not bad.

message 13063: by Bethany (new)

Bethany | 578 comments Reread Hourglass (Hourglass, #1) by Myra McEntire Which was as good as I remembered it being. Now I'm working my way through Timepiece (Hourglass, #2) by Myra McEntire Really liking it so far.

Karen’s Library Just finished Deadlocked (Sookie Stackhouse, #12) by Charlaine Harris and started Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer and The Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater . message 13069: by Bethany (new)

Bethany | 578 comments Yes, you definitely need to read the first one or you'll be very confused :) plus it's better if the first book is fresh in your mind when you read the second.

Scorpio races was like a slow burning broth, good overall, but not up to breathtaking standards. Just starting
Cinder (Lunar Chronicles, #1) by Marissa Meyer and The Knife of Never Letting Go (Chaos Walking, #1) by Patrick Ness . Trying to pick up on Insurgent (Divergent, #2) by Veronica Roth but I wasn't really into Divergent so it's at the backburner atm.

Oh so good, and so fun! I've only read 1 and 2 because my library's overdrive doesn't have the rest for kindle, so i have to actually go get them. I've gotten lazy.

message 13091: by Peep (Pop! Pop!) (new)

Peep (Pop! Pop!) Guys, I hated Bitterblue (Graceling Realm, #3) by Kristin Cashore ! What a bad end to that series. Anywho, off to read Insurgent (Divergent, #2) by Veronica Roth before it's due back.

I am getting back to it. I'm not very far into it though. I can't find the recap on the authors site and there's no way I'm rereading Divergent no matter how much I enjoyed it.

message 13094: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Well considering you didn't enjoy it I can't see you even reading the re-cap Peep! I remember what irritated me about it enough that I think I should be ok if I do end up reading Insurgent (view spoiler)

Ugh, such a weight on my shoulders! I'll try to finish it soon and let you know what I though. You should read Bitterblue though. I need someone to complain with.
