I've just started Catching Fire and after the first Hunger Games book I'm so excited to blaze through these!

yeah, the HUNGER GAMES are great. Though i liked the first book the most, the whole series is great and breath-catching! Enjoy it

Cassi - I'm also in Fantasy Book Club (some REALLY good discussions here) and YA Science Fiction & Fantasy Book Club.
Just started
last night for some bedtime reading. Bad idea! It made me stay up way too late. :) Actually, I LOVE books that make me stay up too late!
Starting
. It's by a fairly acclaimed Kentucky author & it's been on my TBR list for forever. Got the ebook cheap recently. I've felt like a bad Kentuckian because he's extremely local and I keep forgetting to start this book.

:) I'm excited!"
Oh I love that one, so whimsical! Enjoy.
P.S. The second in that series
is just as good.
I started this yesterday and I've yet to read twenty pages of the first story. I know the hero had to outsmart the heroine, but did he have to do it at the expense of her intelligence?
I'm reading Passion
but am having a tough time getting through it. I'm on Chapter 14 and I can't say much of anything has happened yet! Or at least not much that tells me anything new about Luce and Daniel's situation. *sigh*. I just read City of Bones with my daughter and can't wait to start City of Ashes
. I refuse though until I finish Passion. My daughter asks me everyday if I'm done yet, so I have to hurry and get through it before she beats me =)

I'm enjoying it so far. Zusak does a great job of balancing funny and serious. And I really like the narrator's voice. It seems sincere and imperfect, like an actual 19-year-old boy's.

Oh yay! You are listening to the audio - I loved that narrator. FYI just to warn you the ending was weird.
i really want to read book 4 in the mortal instruments series, but I can't seem to bring myself to read clockwork angel and i've been told the best reading experience is to read that first. someone please talk me into clockwork angel

I thought it was much better than the Mortal Instruments books. I know that's not very convincing but I thought it was really good.
I loved Clockwork Angel as much as the Mortal Instruments. It's clockpunk - cool Victorian steampunk with clockwork beings. Will and Jem are beautiful, and Tessa's abilities are just so different from everything I've ever read before. :) A great story.

Can hardly wait for her to revisit this particular series, but I'm also anxiously awaiting her new YA series as well. Love me some Scottish highlands and magic.
thanks guys, I just finished Shatter Me by Taheria Mafi and have to get through Explosive Eighteen by Janet Evanovich or my mother will spoil it for me lol. Then I think I'll give Clockwork Angel another try =o)
I am finally almost done with
and I really like it. I already downloaded the audio versions of 2 and 3 and the free pre-quel ebook. This was a hard book to penetrate initially, but the narration was so well done -- a true performance. I have become attached to the characters; and that seems hard to imagine in such a bleak, violent and ugly world!
That's so awesome Regina. I love when someone reads a series I love. I keep waiting for reviews and thoughts.

I began reading The Book Thief, I had heard so many great things about it that I was curious. The beginning hooked me but then the style seemed to change. Regretfully, I couldn't get through it and stopped a little over a quarter of the way :(

I was reading the audiobook version and I still couldn't get through it. Maybe I should try again or try physically reading it.
Wendy F wrote: "That's so awesome Regina. I love when someone reads a series I love. I keep waiting for reviews and thoughts."Usually in books the big reveals are me downs. But not in this book. They are super freaky!

The Book Thief is a slow starter but is one of those books you need to stick out! It's worth it I promise.
Just finished reading
I gave it 4 stars, it is a good starter book in the new series. Excited to read the next one when it comes out.
I am currently reading Born Wicked- i just started it and am really enjoying it. I finished Eve by Anna Carey yesterday and it disappointed me. It was just ok, although I will read the next in the series.

HAHA, Thanks, I read part of it and will finish when it when I'm out of work.

Finally I got
in through mail yesterday and started reading right away and now I'm already in the middle of it.:)
I am listening to
, still really liking this series. It is alot of fun. :) I am also reading (got on the bandwagon!!)
, I am only 20% in but I am liking it alot. I started and finished
yesterday. It is YA, but not romance at all. This book is written in verse form, the author brought together poems she had written to form a short novel (144 pages). I loved it. I am not a person who enjoys poetry at all. I wish I did, but I just don't. This book enthralled me though, it is a quick but moving read. The topics addressed are sad (growing up, mothering dying of cancer, leaving one's country behind and relocating to another), but it is just done so well. I cannot wait to write my review about this book, I really want to give this author support. I may also buy the book even though I got it from netgalley.
