I had read the books before the series started and felt i couldn't then watch the program as i wasn't into it as much as the books. ;(
I just finished the Nine Lives of Chloe King by Liz Braswell. It was ok. The TV Series seems to be better by far

Oh and at currently...."What the HECK is going on?!?" I'm hoping for a happy ending here so please Claudia Gray don't let me down!!

"Susan wrote: "I am finally reading The Help by Kathryn Stockett."Oh, I just finished it and I LOVED it!
...SO much, that it's the first movie I've been excited about in a long time; I'm actually counting down the days!
I watched the trailer on IMDB and it looks amazing. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1454029/

I am still hanging out in IN and have been for the last 2 1/2 weeks so I have read
and am working on
(for a second time) and
The best YA I've read all summer (besides the one I wrote:) is The Absolutely True Diary of a Part Time Indian. I'm always looking for quality "boy" books and this is absolutely a good one.
I know some of you are book bloggers so I am going to extend a invitation to those that are book reviewers to participate in my first ever blog tour that I am putting together for a goodreads author Jody Kihara's book White Witch Pond. It will be Oct. 9th-22nd and she will be giving the reviewers a ebook. Contact me at booklady2007@gmail.com

This is my favorite thread so far *group hug* seriously get the best recommendations here.Just watched the trailer for
and it almost made me cry. Gonna have to put that book on my TBR list. Oh and Kristina, starting don't say a word tonight so will let you know what I think!
I've been away for a couple of weeks, during which I read a few books that were waiting on my Kindle:
Sadly none of them got more than 2 stars from me, but they tided me over til I got home to my library :)
Now I'm pondering over what to start next:
?
I also read
and
and I wasn't a fan of both. You can look up my reviews if you want, but I'm number four got only 1 star and Matched 2 or 3 but it wasn't special like other books I already read.
do you know the Fever Series by Karen Moning oder The Darkest Power trilogy by Kelley armstrong - they are great :)

I agree, both series are awesome!

Finished
which was quite enjoyable as a knitter & kind of a nice divergence from what I typically read. Started
(At least that's what I think I started...)
Lisa wrote: "I agree, both series are awesome"thanks. Do you know series, which are quite as great as they are? I read hunger games already and now I read the uglies series - but I'm almost through and now I need somehting new :)
Melissa wrote: "Let me know how Extras is...I read the trilogy and loved it, but never picked up Extras becau..."you already read the trilogy and didn't continue with the fourth book? I couldn't do that :) - so I kept reading Westerfelds book and at first it was upseting, because the whole city is different and there are also different characters. But after a few pages I really got into the main character Aya, she's really likeable and after a while, even Tally and the others showed up. But the main story is about Aya. But its good so far :)
Lisa wrote: "have you read city of glass by Casandra Clare? Is is great! Morganville vampires is also good...."yeah, of course I already read everything from CC - also everything from Stephenie Meyer ( I loved host) - so now I'm out of good books :(
but I don't know the morganville vampires - but to be true, I'm kind of have enough of vampire books at the moment.
what is it about the beautiful darkness - dont know that.
Beautiful Darkness One of my most favorite books is Nineteen Minutes - Jodi Picoult...it really makes you think
thanks for the recommendation, but the 'chaster chronicles' have 3 books contained and the fourth will be published 2012. did you know that?

The main character's dialect doesn't bother you? I only have the sample, but I haven't gotten to it yet"
I guess I am used to it because I read The Knife of Never Letting Go (TKONLG) first and that book has similar dialect. When I read TKONLG it put me off for at least 50 pages and I almost gave up.
