What are you reading now?

I think this book stands alone because the next book is many years later with different characters in the same family (at least from what I read).

. It's not bad at all, it's just my attention span is stinking it up."WHAT THE HECK IS WITH YOUR NAME??!!??
Peep (Leave Edward alone!!) wrote: "Heidi, I'm having a one woman silent protest. *bows head, throws up fist*."hahahaha
Heidi (Edward is a control freak) wrote: "Oh! It is sooooo on!"Hahaha!!! You would ruin my protest by making me laugh out loud!!!
I should change my name to something like "Cassi (Glitter is not your friend)" just to jump into this battle.
Cassi wrote: "I should change my name to something like "Cassi (Glitter is not your friend)" just to jump into this battle."Oh don't you worry Cassi I could go on and on with this name change thing! I am just totally lost as to why Peep became the champion of Edward today. That is Shannen's job.

It is rainy and I am bored. Am I not allowed to spruce up things around here every once in a while? And don't change your name... I didn't come up with any backups!
Bad timing, just noticed the convo going on in the other thread (though I didn't read it). Maybe I should post over there...
Stacia...dot, dot, dot wrote: "Wait, there's a name changing party and no one invited me?"Hey Stacia! Guess what you're invited! Of course I just crashed the party but I'll invite you anyways!

Thanks?! I think... Hahahaha!

I worked in a church nursery for 3 years. Have you ever had rich parents call to complain because of glitter in their new SUV? For reals people.
Glitter never goes away. Permanent sparkle.

Each book is about a different woman in the family and her interaction with the Fae, etc. None of the stories really continue each other except that each woman is part of the family legacy, so they are all kind of stand alone stories. The start and end the story in one novel for the most part. You don't need to read them one after the other. I felt compelled to read them quickly just because I loved the writing style of the author so much. And my personal favorite is the second book in the Sevenwaters series. If you read it, you'll probably know why.
So its a loosey-goosey commitment! SCORE!!! I'm only a few pages from the end and very very happy. Much better than the first Bridei book. Not even the same league folks!

Yay Catie I can't wait to listen to Tina Fey's book now. Carmel I am so please you are loving the thin mints!
Started reading Incarceron earlier this evening, but just couldn't get into it for some reason... So I gave up, and started reading Finnikin of the Rock which I'm enjoying so far.
Valerie wrote: "Started reading Incarceron earlier this evening, but just couldn't get into it for some reason... Reading
, I'm having a hard time getting into the author's writing style. I'm not sure if I should stick with it.
Valerie wrote: "Started reading Incarceron earlier this evening, but just couldn't get into it for some reason... So I gave up, and started reading Finnikin of the Rock which I'm enjo..."I was bored to tears by Incarceron but I loved Finnikin.
Traci wrote: "finished
the other day and will be starting
for fun and

Started
last night but only read chapter 1 because I was warned it is hard to put down. Going to do some cleaning and return to it today.
Cassi (Throws glitter at Peep) wrote: "Started

today. There are 21 books in the Alice series so if I like it I guess I will have a lot of books to read!
Valerie wrote: "Started reading Incarceron earlier this evening, but just couldn't get into it for some reason... Now I can't wait to read Saphique!

I just started
, and so far it's really good. I love the way the author used the Chinese dragons in the story.
I'm starting on Revolution. I've heard great things about it, but for some reason have been reluctant to read it. So hopefully I enjoy it.
Heidi (the original) wrote: "I was bored to tears by Incarceron "Was definitely bored! :/

I agree completely! ;)
Jessica wrote: "I'm starting on Revolution. I've heard great things about it, but for some reason have been reluctant to read it. So hopefully I enjoy it."Revolution was a GREAT read!! At least I think so ;) LOVED it so much that I am interested in reading other books by the author.
On audiobook while jogging reading Need. Otherwise switching between The Dark Mirror and River Marked. Just finished City of Fallen Angels
I'm having some book issues. Every single flippin time I read BDB, It takes me a week to get back into reading something else. Arrgh. I have The Piper's Son, River Marked and City of Fallen Angels sitting here yet I can't read them because I keep thinking about BDB. I'm going to try to get through city of Fallen Angels this week...We are moving in a few weeks and things are getting interesting around here...

I liked it, but it wasn't as gripping as the first three. This one was mostly a build up for the next two I think. It was still good, but those who didn't enjoy the original MI probably won't like this one either :p
Heidi (the original) wrote: Ohhh The Road. One of the most depressing books ever. Can't believe you are reading that for a class. It's for a class called "Narratives of the Apocalypse" haha.. we also read
