I borrowed it from my library, and once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. I actually read an entire book in on..."Yay!
Heidi I wrote: "I have to say the Red Riding Hood movie trailer looks good. Anyone read the book it's based on?"I was reading on Amazon that the book is based on the screenplay and not the other way around. It also seems that the ending won't be released until after the movie comes out (you will be able to read it online I guess) So I am just going to see the movie first with this one. A lot of people are mad because there is no warning about that on the book or Amazon's page for the book. Just a little tidbit/warning.
I haven't read that Jane Green but I feel like she is a hit or miss author in a big way. There are some of her books I love and others that are torturous to finish. I don't know what is up with that.

"I just recently read that, and I was really excited after the first chapter, but I just got bored after that, until almost the very end. The movie was amazing though!
Okay, so, I'm still reading
but, I'm debating on what book to read next... so far it's a tie between
and
. what do you guys think? or should i just break down and read them both? hehe
Heidi I wrote: "I have to say the Red Riding Hood movie trailer looks good. Anyone read the book it's based on?"Gag! Should elaborate that I did not like the first trailer because it looked too much like her other movie. I did see a new trailer and liked that one. I just wouldn't see the movie. It's looks like it will be beautifully and tragically epic.

and loved it! Now i dont know what to read lol Was thinking either the Hex Hall series or City of Bonesany suggestions??"
Definitely City of Bones series.
Hey -- I'm trying to find the most "eloquently written" YA book out there right now. Any suggestions?
Just about anything by Melina Marchetta I have thought really eloquent and almost rythmatic. Juliet Marillier's books are beautifully written, picturesque without being wordy and poetic at times.
was another I thought eloquent yet simply written. Hope that give you a good start.

Ha! Peep oh Peep where have you been? I have missed your snarkiness :)
I've been seeing the movie trailers for Red Riding Hood...looks really good...Im afraid to read the book before the movie because I don't want to expect too much and then get let down....know what I mean!!
Brittany wrote: "Just finished with

. I need another Violet and Jay fix! :)"I cant wait to read both of these!!
Bethany I only read book one in the series. I thought it could have been better. It was not bad, but not great IMO.
Heidi I wrote: "Bethany I only read book one in the series. I thought it could have been better. It was not bad, but not great IMO."I agree, I completed the series but I kept hoping that something great would pop up along the way, it's what made me push through all of them.
Thanks....now I know to not be expecting something AWESOME to happen...so I won't set my expectations too high.....this will give me room to be either plesantly surprised...or just pleasantly unsurprised!!
Brittany wrote: "Just finished with

I'm almost finish with "I am Number Four" very very boring!!! I so wanted to read this book because of the movie; but made a huge mistake....so sad about this one
Reading a ARC of
only on page 34, a little slow but I do believe I am about to get to the more interesting parts..LOL
Working on

Finished

. I am liking it so far but I barely started it. It is LONG over 400 pages. I also plan to read

While it is not YA, I got the rec. from this group, (Becca and Terry), so I will add my thoughts here. Just finished
and agree that Ms. Marillier is a wonderful author.
