I have City of Ashes sitting at my desk right now and am looking forward to getting into it later this month.City of Glass comes out March 24, 2009.
Of course. Once I start a series, I have to finish it, especially if it is really good. I already have City of Ashes and will be reading it once I am finished with City of Bones. City of Glass sounds like an interesting book.I can't wait until it comes out.
Yes, I'm looking forward to it. I have some must read books for work and school - but this is high on my pleasure list. I tend to put books in a series higher than other books on my to-read list.
I can't NOT read the next book. I must know what happens; I've already got a copy waiting for me to pick it up.
I just finished City of Ashes. I'm so excited about the next one!
I'm reading City of Ashes right now and it's killing me!!! I'm meant to be studying for my mock exams but I can't when I'm constantly being distracted by that shiny book of angst-ridden, teenage urban fantasy! Oh it's too much! And then when I'm done I'll have to bite my nails waiting for the last book. ARGH! And they better not be brother and sister T_T, it makes me so sad...it's so screwed up and ew SIMON! D:
I probably will eventually. I didn't really care for the first 11 chapters, but the rest of the book was very arresting - good enough to get me interested in the rest of the series.
I read City of Ashes and it rocked!! can't wait for the third one!
I'm with Elaine, I probably will at some point, and I also didn't care for first 10 or so chapters but the rest was interesting enough.

I was surprised that the second book kept the brother/sister love affair going! I really enjoyed Simon's story!
more spoilers:well, i guess it's not really that surprising, since it's probably going to turn out that they're not brother/sister. cuz that would suck. and it would be really weird. plus, simon annoys me; he's soooo whiney.

Angie you are so lucky your library lets you reserve it already! Our library won't until they actually order it and that is only if they ordered it when it first comes out. :(I can't believe Jace and Clary are related either. They so belong together as a couple.

omg, i read city of glass a few weeks ago.GODDD it was AMAZING. best of the series, in my opinion. :] i won't give anything away though ... lol ;)
I read it last week too and it was great! Although I thought Clary was a little bratty in this one.
she was always a little bratty though ... lol. to be honest i'm not a big clary fan. but JACE IS SO AWESOME!! lol :D

LOL. Well, it's been awhile since I read the first two so I guess I forgot about Clary. Jace is totally awesome though :)Angie-I have heard of some libraries letting the workers put holds on books first. Hope you get your copy soon!
Yes, Jace is amazing. He's on my list of fictional guys I want to marry. :] lollol i tried requesting it from the library, but I couldn't wait. So I ordered it on amazon, got it in the mail, and read the whole thing within 24 hours. It is TOTALLY worth buying. It was soooo amazing! :D

So I have about 100 pages to go. Really thought this was a good book, a long book, but a good book. I have issues with a few things. LIke for example, was that demon supposed to be raping Aline? That was weird... no one said it but it was certainly being hinted at.
Plus ok what is with Clary and Jace? They were really going to sleep together knowing they were brother and sister? I mean I know we find out they aren't really. But at the time they thought they were. She let him spend the night and what not. I knew the only reason the book was keeping that going was because we were going to find out they weren't related. But still, gross!
And then she does kiss Sebastien who is her brother???? That wasn't even necessary. Aside from all the incest going on this book has been really exciting and fun. I wonder though that none of the world knows any of this is going on?

I like Isabella too. She is perfect for him, she is kind of explosive and he keeps her centered. Let's see what Cassandra Clare does with Simon. I read she's working on a Simon's book
