Mumford and Sons - The Cave, Little Lion Man
I listened to my husband sing "It's Bad You Know" (R.L. Burnside) while we dismantled the Christmas tree, finally.

I hope Helena/Melanie is reading this! just over 24 hrs before pubic hair is mentioned!

Yep that's what it is, I just wasn't sure whether the term was widely known.

"Moneytalks" (their spelling, not mine) - AC/DC. Magic I tell you, magic.
Oh Sarah I love Rufus!I really love Rufus singing Judy Garland!
I wish that was in my rotation in the last 24.
This morning I listened to Sting sing "Gabriel's Message". I couldn't take the whole CD on a Monday Morning, so I stopped after a few songs!

I bought the CD (double) on a whim at the Record & Tape Traders New Years' sale, Leshawn. I haven't made it all the way through yet, but I'm loving it.

Me too... sigh. I just got the album a couple of weeks ago and can’t stop listening to it!

Never heard of them before but I liked that song.
ms.petra wrote: "Michael, see message 4 for two more :)"I really liked Little Lion Man. Is he singing about himself?

Love ‘Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress’ I always wanted to be one :)
The four year old makes me play this over and over- could be worse...could be Barney or something (she likes female singers with drums)
Sheena is a Punk Rocker- covered by the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s

I know, I know... which would you rather listen to? The Barney soundtrack or the yeah yeah yeas covering the Ramones?? I think you might skip the Barney sound track.

Can't argue that. My kids only bellied up to the washtub to drink the Barney Kool-Aid for a very short time. Thank God...

GROW FINS and HER EYES ARE A BLUE MILLION MILES in memory of the recently departed musician and painter Captain Beefheart (Don Van Vliet).
I like that one too, KO.Along similar lines (or same era, at least), Spill the Wine with Eric Burdon and War on some psychedelic 1970s German TV show--great visuals:

"I dreamed I was the star of a Hollywood mooo-vie..."I saw Eric Burdon once in the '80s, but he was kind of past it by then, unfortunately. What a character.

I'm pretty lucky with mine... as long as there's a female vocalist and some drums she's happy. Of course, if I gave her the option of whatever passes for the 'mini-pops' these days- I'm sure I'd be listening to that!
I went in to give my MIL her medicine and her TV was playing, "I Could Have Danced All Night" (instrumental). That's the only song I've heard today.
