"The Warrior" - Scandal

Have you heard any of them and are they worth tracking down? ."I've only ever heard him complain about it, but the last line of their Wikipedia article is "Twenty years on from their first album, a 4-CD box set including previously unreleased material was released." I've never seen that but I'm interested in tracking it down.
Dangit. This is stuck in my head... and I want to correct them every time I hear the lyric "I don't have a choice, but I'd still choose you" because "but" implies a contingency... it should be "I don't have a choice, AND I'd still choose you." I think sometimes people overuse their buts.Poison & Wine - The Civil War
I do like the song, though.
Heidi, I don't know, I read that lyric as shorthand for "I don't have a choice, but if I did, I'd still choose you." Beautiful song...Stop listening to Journey, people! It's not the 80's! You don't have to do this!

Someone wrote "It took me a while to convince myself that that WASN'T Johnny Depp..."

It could still be written as "I don't have a choice, and if I did, I'd still choose you," Jackie. :/
I'm totally with you on the Journey, though.

Edit. I misread that. I was thinking of Old Ceremony's Papers In Order.

THINK, people. Think before you speak/write. Be clear about your intention.

Yay! I love the Old Ceremony!
Not so much Ceremony the Cult album, or Ceremony the New Order song. Leslie Marmon Silko's Ceremony is ok but you can't dance to it.

see, that's why i hate it. i typed it, and its still playing in my head. my mom and dad dance to it ALL THE TIME, and im so freaking sick of it!
oh no. have mercy please.
Esme, when my mom was going through her Jackson Browne phase, my sister and I conspired against her before a 5 hour road trip in which she would've tortured us to listen to Jackson Browne's Running on Empty on repeat... for FIVE friggin hours while she'd sing along. So my sister "forgot" something in the house as Mom was backing out the driveway before turning the radio on... and Mom, of course thinking she's more focused than us, insisted on running in to get it herself so we could get on the road more quickly. When she got out of the car, sister said "QUICK! QUICK! Before she gets back!" and I knew what she meant, so I raced to eject the tape out of the ridiculously slow tape deck, handed it to her like a hot potato (Mom's out the door and locking it up), she shoves it into the pocket behind Mom's car seat, and we catch our breath and return to normal (Mom's in the car and fussing at sister for "forgetting" whatever it was she forgot... "Next time, young lady, you go WITHOUT ___insert lame grooming item here___). Mom was digging through her console and looking everywhere for her tape. She couldn't find it. So we got 5 hours of roadtrip WITHOUT Jackson Browne. Pure bliss. She found the tape 12 years later.

I heard Mumford & Sons' "The Cave" on the way home from work yesterday, and I have to say that I could take or leave the melody and the singer and the lyrics, but they'd be welcome to just play me those absolutely joyful instrumental breaks for an hour straight without the rest of the song.
"I Can See Clearly Now" - Johnny Nash
Sigh...
Sigh...
I spent way too much time on YouTube listening to Luciano Pavarotti do duets with the likes of James Brown, Queen, Jon Bon Jovi and Lou Reed, among others. God, what a voice. Rest in peace, Mr. Pavarotti.
