Hullo my special friends.

So the last "Roleplay with Characters From--sheesh. That takes forever to type. Let's say RCFYS for short. Anyways RCFYS died. =( But I liked it a lot, and I haven't roleplayed in a long time, and so I'm starting a new one!

Hopefully you guys all know how to roleplay. You use these handy things " for dialogue and these when you are talking out of the roleplay (( )) etc....

It's in modern time period, and pretty much anything goes, characters wise. Fantasy people, normal people etc.

Post your charries in the charrie topic following the format there, please.

How about we start with us all on a cruise in the Caribbean? That leaves some awesome possibilities. Have fun and BEGIN!

Josh hugged his mom awkwardly and hurried to his room before she started crying or having second thoughts or something. His sister had one two tickets for a cruise and his mom had decided it would be a good chance for them to bond, since they hadn't been getting along that well lately. He threw his luggage on one of the beds and walked back down the cramped hallway until he found an open room. He wasn't sure what it was, but there were chairs and a soda fountain, so he sat down and started texting Ashley.

[Mandy]

"What do you think?" Marie's mom, Mrs. Jack asked her, her voice hopeful.
"It's great." Marie said sincerely. "The ship is beautiful. You should go have some "you" time. I heard they give free massages."
Mrs. Jack grinned. "I think I will. Will you be okay?"
"Yeah, I'm just going to go unpack and catch something to eat."
"Alright. Love you."
They both parted ways. Marie decided to eat first, and she roamed the halls, looking for small cafeteria or something.

[Elliott]

A message popped up on his phone after he tried to send his first text. Out of service range. Please call Sprint for assistance or to activate long distance service. "Dang it," Josh muttered shoving his phone back into his pocket.

[Mandy]

Marie heard a beeping noise from a room she had just passed. She backtracked and peeked in it, hoping to find a small restaurant. No luck. All there was was some tables and chairs and a small soda fountain. The beeping had come from boy texting on his cell phone. He was kinda cute. Too cute and probably one of those jocks. She shook her head and walked to the soda fountain.

((Should she be able to read minds in this one?))

*bum bum bum* LAV!!! Your frenemie has ARRIVED! Lol))

Briony paused on the main deck, somewhat stunned with the view. The waves were lazily pounding against the boat, creating foam that bordered the huge ship. Her eyes flit across the deck, marking everyone and seeing potential threats, like the waiter who kept giving her the evil eye. She rolled her eyes and adjusted her bikini top slightly.

[Elliott]

((Yes she should.))

When Josh looked up there was girl standing by the soda fountain. The first attractive girl he'd seen on the ship since he'd arrived. "Hey," Josh said with a cocky grin.

[Mandy]

((Okay.))

Marie glanced at him and nodded. Just what I thought. Cocky, arrogant... She turned back to the soda machine and clicked the Sprite #52 button.

[Elliott]

Hello? Aren't you going to say hi? Josh thought. "Hey," he said again.

[Mandy]

"Hi." Marie said without looking up. She wasn't looking for a friend. Or a boyfriend. Heck no. She coughed as her Sprite bottle banged into the pickup box.

[Elliott]

"Where are you from?" Josh stood up.

[Mandy]

"Washington D.C. You?" Marie unscrewed the cap and groaned as it spurt sticky Sprite everywhere. "Oops." Her hands felt wet and gross. "Sorry. I'll go get some napkins." She quickly grabbed some from a nearby counter and began wiping the fizzing drink up.

[Elliott]

((Drat. I can't remember where Josh was from. New Jersey? Or something... ah well.))

He snickered and just watched her clean it up. "Pennsylvania," he said through his laughter.

[Mandy]

I really don't like you."Cool." Marie finished cleaning it up and washed her hands. "Well, nice meeting you....uh, what was your name?"

[Elliott]

"Why does it matter?" Josh winked.

[Mandy]

Marie blinked slowly and stared at him. Up closer, he was really really cute, but she still wasn't wanting to have a relationship with anyone. Fitting. I'm on a ship and this guy is like a stuck barnacle on a rock to me. "You're right. I guess it doesn't." She began walking out of the small room, she was done. "See you around." I hope not.

[Elliott]

"You're leaving?" Josh said, in a pouty voice. "Why?"

[Mandy]

"Because I want too."

[Elliott]

Josh stood up and started following her.

[Mandy]

((I'm on more now.))

Marie went down the hall, determined to find a real restaurant. After a few seconds she turned. "What are you doing?" She asked questioningly.

[Elliott]

"Walking down the hall of the ship. What are you doing?"

[Mandy]

"Trying to find a restaurant." Marie purposefully veered into a different hallway.

((I've missed this.))

[Elliott]

He turned down the same hallway, sticking close behind her. "Oh."

[Mandy]

She spun around again. "Why are you following me?" She demanded bluntly.

[Elliott]

"I'm not following you. I just happen to be going the same way you're going," Josh rolled his eyes.

[Mandy]

Marie huffed and sighed. "Ah, finally." She had spotted a Japanese restaurant at the end of the hall. Smells wafted through the air. She loved Asian food. She took a seat on a bench near the door, waiting for her turn to be seated, and not caring where the boy with the beeping cell phone was.

[Elliott]

He sat down next to her on the bench.

[Mandy]

Marie folded her arms and crossed her legs, a scowl on her face.

[Elliott]

"Is someone crabby?" he asked.

[Mandy]

"Yes. And you aren't helping."

[Elliott]

"Well, then," Josh said. He scooted closer to her on the bench.

[Mandy]

Marie scooted farther away. The waiter came and asked how many for the table. "Two, I assume?" The waitress asked, smiling. Marie shook her head. "No--"

[Elliott]

"Yes," Josh countered her.

[Mandy]

Marie glared at him and hurriedly began to the waitress, "Just one--" But she was already out of hearing range. She turned back to Josh. "What did you do that for?" She asked, sounding peeved.

[Elliott]

"It'll take up less space in the resteraunt and save the environment," Josh laughed.

[Mandy]

Marie laid her head back onto the bench. "Aha." There was a pause. "Well, since I'll be having lunch with you, you might as well know my name. It's Marie."

[Elliott]

"Nice to meet you Marie," he stuck out his hand to be shook.

[Mandy]

Marie shook it. "And your name? It does matter this time."

[Elliott]

He squeezed her hand a little bit. "Josh."

[Mandy]

Marie stared at him and took her hand back. Then she realized they were still on the bench. "Umm...our table is waiting." She stood up.

[Elliott]

"Does this count as a date?" Josh joked, noting how she pulled pack. He got up and walked over to the table.

[Mandy]

"Uh...no. Does it?" Counts? What?! Like this would ever happen again. Let alone as a date.

[Elliott]

"Not if you don't want it to," Josh half smiled and sat down.

((Uh, crap. How can Gina get here? Her mother doesn't have much money.))

((Her grandparents paid for them to go on a trip for their anniversary? That's how we got to go on my Thanksgiving cruise.))

Do I look like I know Japanese? Josh thought, but he tried to pronounce the word Marie was looking at as best he could, trying to impress her.

No. Why are you trying so hard? Marie accidentally broadcasted her thought. Crap. She tried to cover it up. "I don't think it's pronounced like that. Waiter! I want that." She pointed at it.
