"What, think I can't handle spicy food?" Josh scoffed and then focused on the waiter again. "Yeah, I'll definitely have that." Ew. I hate spicy food.
Gina would never be able to repay her grandparents for this.
Mrs. Lindfield's parents had decided, due to their daughter's situation, that they needed to help out in some way. Every few years, Gina's grandparents would pay for an expensive thing that each member of Gina's family wanted. James chose an Xbox, Mom chose to remodel parts of the house, and Gina ended up on an inexpensive cruise.
Gina dragged her suitcase into her room. She didn't stop to admire the furniture. She was starving.
Gina explored the dining areas, and a Japanese restaurant caught her eye. "Japanese food!" She grinned to herself. She quickly sat on the bench for those who were waiting to be seated.

"Some people just don't like it." Marie almost blew up right then. Couldn't he just be himself and not put of this front of flirty toughness?! This is stupid! She thought to herself.
After a few minutes, a waitress led Gina to a table. "I'll give you a moment to think about what you want," the waitress said.
Gina nodded and scanned the menu. So many choices, she thought.

Lav Lalie Fompledump (Lavendarlol) wrote: ""Well, I do," Josh lied and leaned back in his chair.""Sure." Marie leaned back as well.
"Tell me about yourself, Marie," Josh said, as he noticed a girl sitting in a table across from her. She was pretty too. He grinned a little wider and waved slightly.
"I'll have the curry," Gina said when the waitress returned.
"Mild, medium, or spicy?"
She shrugged. "I'll go with the medium. Thanks."
Gina was left alone again. She let her eyes wander around the room, taking in the spirits of those around her. Her eyes stopped at a table next to her. A blonde boy was leaning back in his chair, obviously flirting with the girl across from him. The spirit in his torso was a bit like a misty, dark red flame. He must be as arrogant as he looks, Gina thought. The girl at his table looked pretty peeved.
Just then, the boy grinned and waved at her. Gina raised her eyebrows quizzically and turned back to her menu.

The other girl had ignored him, but Josh excused himself saying he had to go to the bathroom and walked past her table, accidentally brushing her shoulder with his hand. "Excuse me," he said, stopping.
((Mandy!))
Marie shrugged and waited for her food. Her fingers tapping on the table. She had half a mind to leave, but that would probably be too mean.
((Just bring your character to the Japanese restaurant on the boat where we are all congregated... and Josh can hit on her too! XD))
Gina nodded. "You're excused." She then eyed her menu again, pretending there was something highly interesting there.
*spazzing* I need to get Brin in here somehow. Since we all seem to be in a Japanese restaurant..))Brin scowled at the waiter and pulled on her crop-top jacket. If he was going to be pissy, she was leaving, and writing a complaint. Her scowl still lingering, she stalked down the hallway and stumbled upon a restaurant. It had been a while since she had eaten last, so she decided it was probably good to find something.
Mandy wrote: "((There are too many girls for poor Josh.))"
((Schnikees yes.))
((Schnikees yes.))

((*laughs* I might need to go make a guy.))
Ugh, Josh thought. That was a fail. He kept walking towards the bathroom and pretended he'd actually needed to go.
((Ahhh, but Josh loves it. He doesn't love them all hating him... but ya know. :) I've missed it too, Mandy.))
((Baha. I have plenty of male characters to choose from. I'll drag Gabriel in here, if need be.))
Brin's scowl disappeared as the waiter came. "Just one," she tried to smile. Her mood hadn't gotten any better, and she had forgotten to refill her prescription before they left. In just a few days, her disorder would be as bad as ever. To make a good impression, she kept her head high as she was seated in a booth.
Josh walked out of the bathroom and saw a different girl sitting all along, but decided not to even try, as his luck with girls had been failing here. He sat back down with Marie. "Food!" he said enthusiastically.
Gina regretted not ordering something that could be eaten with chopsticks. She didn't, however, regret ordering the medium-spicy curry. If this is medium, she thought, spicy would probably turn my tastebuds to ash.
((Emmie... hehe.
Pammy: Sure.))
Pammy: Sure.))
Brin sighed, not really paying attention to anyone else. After a brief look at the menu, she ordered something she knew wouldn't involve red meat and began to play with the arrangement of sauces on the table. She felt jumpy and confined.
((If you use correct grammar and capitilzation (I can not figure out how to spell that for the life of me) and stuff, we would love to have you!))

Juliet walked around aimlessly until she was at a random restaurant. Her family had just moved. Again
Gina drained her entire glass of water within minutes. Thankfully, she inhaled her food just as quickly. She stared around the room again, feeling slightly awkward. Why did I eat so fast? I'd feel weird just getting up and leaving now...
Lav Lalie Fompledump (Lavendarlol) wrote: ""I love it," Josh tried to say, but he couldn't talk.""Don't lie to me." Marie said sharply. More sharply then she'd intended.
Brin's food came and she picked at it. She'd lost her appetite quickly. Fish never had been her favorite, even though it was from the limited meats she chose to eat. She pushed it away silently, her mood sinking into a more depressed feeling.
