I also found these gems enjoy!:
1. You say ‘no worries’ quite often, whether you realise it or not.
2. You know that backyard cricket is a nice way to bond with family and the rubbish bin... until the ball goes over the fence.
3. You know the first verse to the national anthem, but still don’t know what “girt” means. And you’re ok with that.
4. You know what fairy bread tastes like, and you can’t imagine your childhood without it.
5.You know that Italy should never have been granted that fateful kick in the 2006 Soccer World Cup.
6.You’ve heard the Prime Minister dismiss anyone who disagrees with him simply as ‘un-Australian’, and that’s enough to make us sit down and shut up.
7.You know that there is a universal place called “woop woop” located in the middle of nowhere… no matter where you actually are.
8.You know that you can’t eat Fantales alone… Otherwise who will you play the ‘Who am I…’ game with when you’re reading the wrapper?
9.You know that in summer a seat belt buckle becomes a pretty good branding iron.
10.You firmly believe that in the end, everything will be ok and have offered advice that included the words, “she’ll be right, mate”.
:)

Hmm - I need to travel more - I think that's what the checklist tells me.

And it's the cheapest way to travel Mikana:) Also gets you to places you'd never physically visit, and times (historical fiction) you can't return to!

Haha! I've done that one - much to the detriment of the car and my stress levels! 100 kms/hour at 10 o'clock at night with traffic coming toward me!!!

Khe San is a Cold Chisel song: https://www.google.com.au/search?q=kh...
or
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTjvG...
VB is Victorian Bitter (beer), my advice is that if you haven't, don't!
Someone needs to tag-team me.... too many questions :)

Hill Hoist - four sided rotating washing line, all Aussie kids have fond memories of spinning around hanging onto one with their feet of the ground
Tim Tams - best chocolate coated biscuit in the world, gaining popular in America and can be bought at some stores - check it out
AFL football - nothing like rugby. Some teams in America (mostly expat Aussies). try Google.
ANZAC (Aust NZ Army Corps) day - April 25th, our war memorial day, commemorates the landing of ANZAC troops at Gallipoli in Turkey in WWI. They eventually had to retreat after 8 months of fierce fighting and thousands killed. A national holiday and services are held at Dawn all over the country.
The Oils - Midnight Oil, popular Aussie band I'm sure you've heard of
Slim Dusty is a famous Aussie country singer (Heard the song "Pub with No Beer"?)
4'n '20 pie is a brand of Aussie meat pie - savoury beef mince not fruit pie - bought hot from a take away lunch shop
Otherwise I'd say you did pretty well for a non-Aussie Owl!

OH! NO! How embarrassing!! BLUSH!
Thong = Flip Flops got it. Good grief!

Tim Tams = Yummy! I'll be checking into those!
ANZAK. Similar to our Memorial Day. I'll mark my calendar. It's very important to celebrate this!
Ah, okay. Yes Midnight Oil! Why didn't you say so in the first place. lol.
