I've got so many books that I can't wait to read in 2011!! It's like getting a gift everytime I start one.

I am so glad this amazing story is getting attention again! My mom read it to my sister and me when we were kids back in the early 70's!

I bought this book for $1 at a Borders that was closing...I couldnt put it down when I started...not just about golf but how the game just takes us and defines who we are and how it effects our relationships with those close to us...

As I read this book really began to grow on me...to me Kent Haruf just has a way of developing these characters which who remind you of someone you know or have met...The book started a little slow for me but by the end I couldn't put it down...

Almost a month since I posted my last book and this was worth the time and effort...The further I got in this book the more I wanted it...I love the dual time periods and every time the author switched to the other it was very smooth and fluid and the story lines were evenly matched...one of my favorites this year so far...
