Thanks Carolyn. Actually, in Pale Demon Rachael mentions that while she slept they drove through IN and stopped so Jenks could get some food. I didn't want to use that state unless it came down to not finding another book there.

Ive been meaning to jump in on this one. I keep starting to orginize my books by state and then something else comes up and flash, I forget. Now I gotta find that little piece of paper Im gathering this info on. Mmmmm.

Quite a few of these books meander through other states but I dont remember all of them, so I will probobly be moving some to meet states I dont have covered. But I am going to go through and put the primary state to get the easy stuff done first. If anyone reads these books and can note the other states that would be helpful. Sheesh, this ones a lot of work, at least when going backwards over books I read earlier this year.

Me too - I've read about 20 in California. Ugh! I'm going to have search for the states I'm missing I just don't know how I'm going to go about that.

That's what I've been doing. Researching and checking out the books I really want to read. I switch out a lot because I'm placing books on my list that I really don't want to read but will for the challenge. As soon as I find a book I really want to read I swap it if I can with those I don't want. The Lorien Series, I am Number Four goes through a lot of states. Book four alone goes through five or six alone.

Carol, I started this challenge and then never really got caught up identifying my books. Would you consider this one again for 2012. I may suggest a broader challenge like a Alphabet place challenge in which you can use state, city, county or world (as in Darkover in Marion Zimmer Bradleys series.

Either way I would jump in again if its just the states for 2012.
