I loved that book! not easy but I hope you enjoyed/are enjoying it.

Rachael- I thought it was enjoyable. I particularly liked the flashbacks of the story.. :)

7. Lover Revealed by J.R. Ward

@Lindsay- I agree you can never go wrong with BDB! :) I'm going through all of the books again before I pick up JM's book, which I haven't read yet.
I have read a number of Sherrilyn Kenyon's books and I really like them a lot, too. I'm sure a few of her books will show up on my list this year! I haven't worked my way up to Acheron's book yet, but I keep hearing it is good.. :)

What did you think of The Replacement? I have it on my bookshelf, and I absolutely loved the cover, but no one I know has read it so far.

I read The Replacement (also loved the cover) and thought it was so-so. It almost felt like a first draft to me, like it needed work. The antagonists seemed more silly than threatening.

I do like Sherrilyn Kenyon though, and I'm just starting the BDB series. :)

Not ignorance, maybe you simply haven't had the fortune to have been introduced to the wonder that is the Black Dagger Brotherhood. ;-) It's the series name for the books by J.R. Ward mentioned above. All the books have Lover in the title. (Dark Lover, Lover Enshrined, Lover Revealed, Lover Awakened, Lover Eternal etc.) They are awesome books!! Amazingly addictive. (Should come with a warning label!)

Ah, I can see why so many of you would be enthralled. Read the summary and it has it all, romance and vampires. Thanks for the education Marie. Once I finish the half dozen or so books lying arouund the house in various stages of completion I'll look for them. Although if they are that addictive perhaps I should wait until I've gone through all my boxes of as yet unread books and the crates that my daughter sent. Instead of buying another book, a new bookshelf would be more practical (not pleasurable, practical).

I know the feeling (regarding practicality). ;-) Although, it hasn't stopped me from buying more books (even though it probably should have).
I think most who've read the BDB books would say they are that addictive. Each book centers around a different couple, but there are a also few stories that we follow throughout the books.
