I hate how I'm tired, but I won't go to bed.

Amanda (randymandy) ?

message 3: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) I have NOT heard of such a date! Don't worry, Rambo. I'm patient....

(Psst, Marie. If she doesn't tell me that story by this time tomorrow, I'm coming to you for the juice, ok? I gotta live vicariously through SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!! And it's always more fun when it's through Sarah.)

message 4: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) DAMNIT! Triple crosspost.

Reads with Scotch booty call?

message 6: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) Damn skippy.
*snap, snap, snaps in a zig zag pattern*

message 7: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) Yep. Rambo=Montambo because that's how it's pronounced. She said so herself. And I like it.

message 8: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) Oooooh, you could fix him up with one of your single friends. Do you have any single friends in Portland? Then you can call her up and ask if she's in looooove!

message 9: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) Yippie! I love juice!

I'll be sure to return the favor if ever an occasion arises, you can count on that!

Dave Russell You see, Sarah, I think telling him it's not a date just relieved him of the pressure of having to be being extra nice to you, while keeping the idea in the back of his mind that he might get lucky (that thought is always there for guys, trust me.)

Dave Russell You're not doing anything wrong. Guys don't need "leading on" to have that thought in the back of their minds. If he's really a nice guy, he won't do anything about it.

edit: Yeah, try to be less sexy in the future. Maybe don't shower before you see him.

Rusty (rustyshackleford) | 2198 comments Just so we’re clear - no man, in the history of mandom, has ever, or will ever, relentlessly pursue “friendship”.

message 13: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (randymandy) I that true? Oh no. I don't want to believe that.

Or maybe I do.

Crap, I don't know!

message 14: by Rusty (new)

Rusty (rustyshackleford) | 2198 comments I didn’t mean that men and women can’t be friends. I’ve had very good friends that were women, some very attractive – I just don’t believe that a guy would happily pursue friendship (especially relentlessly), after being denied the deeper relationship.

Aha! I knew that guy was no good!!

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

That guy, the pretentious other guy, and that peeping guy from before!! All putos!!!

"hey he seems pretty nice" about any male figure other than yourself in either of our lives.

No doubt! Thank goodness I got here in time!!

p.s. OK, to be fair I kinda like peeping guy.
