Zoe Just finished Start Me Up (Tumble Creek, #2) by Victoria Dahl and LOVED it. I'm on a serious contemporary kick right now, so I'm starting our pamela Clare book for the month.

Zoe And to whoever was looking to make the decision on the In Death series, I vote Audio, all the way. The reader is great, and while I also get distracted, I COULDN'T with this book (I've only read the first). Really impressed.

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments Thanks, Zoe. It was me who was asking about the In Death series. I'm listening and loving it right now :) I got the next 10 in ebook format, but I do love the audio so I may have to break down and just buy them from iTunes LOL

And speaking of books currently reading, I've got The Princess Bride by William Goldman going right now too :)

I really like Victoria Dahl's Tumble Creek books. I feel a re-read coming on...

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments I'm in the middle of Victoria Dahl's Donovan Brother's Brewery series and LOVE it! I'll have to check out Tumble Creek.

Zoe I read the 'prequel' to the Donovan Brother's brewery series in an anthology (can't remember which one). I'm definitely going to read it, even if it seems a little more...er...sexually cutting edge, shall we say than my ideal novel. But as I said, her dialogue is great.

Kit★ (xkittyxlzt) | 1416 comments Reading Wicked Loving Lies by Rosemary Rogers and while it's keeping me wanting to read, I'm not a fan of the "hero" he's an ass. Worse than an ass. :)

Susan (susayq ~) (susayq) | 6062 comments I just finished our buddy read of First Grave on the Right (Charley Davidson, #1) by Darynda Jones . Really liked it. Not sure which of my monthly challenge books to read next, Lover Unleashed (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #9) by J.R. Ward or Lord of the Wolfyn (Royal House of Shadows, #3) by Jessica Andersen or The Snow Queen by Anne Avery .

message 913: by Carolyn F. (new)

Carolyn F. Just finished Shield's Lady by Jayne Ann Krentz (just okay) and An Artificial Night (October Daye, #3) by Seanan McGuire (really liked it).

Now reading The Winter Sea by Susanna Kearsley

Lina | 5563 comments Reading Heartless (The Parasol Protectorate, #4) by Gail Carriger and just started Annie's Song by Catherine Anderson for a Buddy-read here. I have a squillion other books I need to get to as well before 31 Dec, but there's a general feel of limbo settling in as I keep looking at all the threads for challenges starting in 2012 that I can't start yet. Anyone else feeling like that??

Heather (messybar) | 1307 comments Recently finished Fatal Affair (Fatal, #1) by Marie Force . Really enjoyed it.
For those of you that like the In Death Series by J.D. Robb, this series also follows a female homicide detective. BUT you'll actually like this heroine from the beginning. LOL
I feel this book is more romance, a more true-to-life one that I have a deeper connection with.
HIGHLY recommend it for those of you interested in this type of book.
