Yes, that's a pitfall, Tracey. I think I did that with
and then just quit listening to it... I really should get back to that audiobook.

I'm reading
Unfortunately I was nitpicking through the first story, so it took me ages, but I'm enjoying the second story more.

I'll let you know when I'm done, about half way through now.
Tracey, I really don't like reading more than one book at a time. I tend to do that if I get bored with the story...put it on hold while I pick up something else. However, it wasn't the case this time. I LOVE the Victoria Dahl book but didn't have it near me and have been wanting to read the Liz Fielding one so I started it (and finished it today lol)
Started House Rules by Jodi Picolult. So far so excellent!(even though that isn;t proper english!) I alos saw you on Facebook Tracey. I'll have to read your book! Definatley on my to-read list! I didn;t know you actually you had actually had one published. congratualtion! How are you going with it? I'm definately going to read it

I'm currently reading The Memory of Running for another group, but we are leaving tomorrow morning to go to my sister-in-law's until Tuesday night or Weds morning, so I'm taking Skye O'Malley with me as a stress-reliever. I already know these next few days won't be fun, so hopefully some B.Small craziness will cheer me up. Wish me luck guys, see y'all next week! :)
Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!!!!!!!!!!!! Except not to Carob and any other Aussie's on here because we don't have it here but I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Happy Thanksgiving to all who are celebrating it!Vanessa, I LOVED Good Girls Don't! Tessa was a great complex character. I'm looking forward to the rest of that series :)
Vanessa wrote: "Started House Rules by Jodi Picolult. So far so excellent!(even though that isn;t proper english!) I alos saw you on Facebook Tracey. I'll have to read your book! Almost finished with
it's not what I'd expected based on the back cover that Cat and Bones were finally taking a vacation I thought perhaps there would be a little respite for these two. Some romance before the action started. But that wasn't to be. Most of the book they've spent fighting. That being said I read 220 pages in one sitting because I couldn't put it down until I knew what happened between them. So I'm not saying I don't like it, just that if you're looking for love and romance this isn't the book... There have been a handful of hot sex scenes though ;)
Tracey wrote: "So I'm not saying I don't like it, just that if you're looking for love and romance this isn't the book... There have been a handful of hot sex scenes though ;) ..."LOL Tracey! Cat & Bones luurrve - almost (but not quite) makes up for the lack of romance :-)
Vanessa wrote: "Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!!!!!!!!!!!! Except not to Carob and any other Aussie's on here because we don't have it here but I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1"Lol Vanessa, no wuckers, we can have our own little party on Jan 26th :-)
Lisa Kay wrote: "What do you do on Australia Day, CaroB & Vanessa? Fireworks, bar-b-que?"CaroB wrote: "Australia Day :-)"
It's a public holiday here in Aust Lisa Kay as it was the day Austalia was founded! It's our birthday! Carob may need to help me out but we usually do celebrations and a concert takes place - is this right Carob? Each capital city usually does their own and the capitial city Canberra has a big event thing on this day and it's tele cast around Aust and that's also when they announce Australian of the Year and give them the medal and all that. They might do fireworks at the end of the night and put on a big BBQ but I;ve really been following it for a couple of years so not so sure.
CaroB wrote: "Vanessa wrote: "Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!!!!!!!!!!!! Except not to Carob and any other Aussie's on here because we don't have it here but I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!!..."Yeh! We'll have our own celebration Carob and when they're all trudging off to work we can sit back and say it's our day!

I'm going to read Tracey's book next and might make this one my to read the one after.
Aww, the life of reading ARCs. I'm reading
and liking it much better than
which I had to flounce. And I do not jilt books easily.
Lisa Kay wrote: "What do you do on Australia Day, CaroB & Vanessa? Fireworks, bar-b-que?"We usually spend the morning on the water, either kayaking/yachting or just swimming at the beach, have an afternoon BBQ with friends and set up somewhere to watch the fireworks (with a glass of wine in hand) in a park. The kids usually go back to school from their 6 week summer break a couple of days after Australia Day so it's kind of a farewell to the holiday season as well. It's what I imagine the 4th of July must be like for you guys. Does that sound similar?
I must admit, I love the idea of thanksgiving, even without the pilgrim tradition here in Oz, but just to have a day to be thankful for all the blessings in our lives seems great to me. I hope all you US residents had a lovely thanksgiving!
Happy Black Friday to all those nuts who waited in line for those doorbusters! I finished my 12 hour shift at Target this morning at 11:30am. Now after a short nap I'm going to start
.
Oh, Cheryl! Go soak your feet, poor baby. Enjoy
. I listened to that on audio this year and it was one of my best listens for 2011. ☺

I usuallly work Australia Day. I work in the cinema industry and we usually find it hard to get people to work that day coze they usually want to soend it with their families so I usually work. It doesn;t bother me. I even did it when I was married. Say;s so much for my marriage hey!
Australia Day does sound a lot like 4th of July and lots of fun! I braved the black friday crowds for the first time this year and it was sooo worth it! I'm on my brand new laptop right now :)
Fantastic Tracey! I'm going green with envy all the way over here. Now you can install ADE and be able to read ebooks as well :-)
I actually got a new smartphone too, Christmas came early this year :) and my new phone has a kindle app. So excited about being able to download books!
I just finished The Bride and it was wonderful. Julie Garwood is now one of my favorite highlander authors. Now onto No Rest for the Wicked.
Lisa Kay wrote: "Oh, Cheryl! I'm glad you thought it was wonderful - 'cause it was! LOL!"Next is The Wedding....one of my favorites Cheryl.
Although, I think I prefer:
I actually read The Wedding first then realized I had to read more of her. My friend just finishedHonor's Splendour and she gave it 5 stars.
I'm back from my oh-so-exciting "getaway" to visit the other side of the family. Finished Skye O'Malley while I was down there and really enjoyed it though it was sort of silly in places. I also finished the other book I was reading, The Memory of Running. Not sure what I want to read next... I need to write my reviews for those two, and catch up on the discussion for Memory... Can't decide... too many choices... lol :)
