What are you reading right now?
You guys are going to keep me busy all summer... I am writing down so many recommendations! I can't wait to be done with this semester so I can just READ READ READ READ....I am getting ready to start Jenny Pox as soon as my final is over on Wednesday. Hopefully I can get it finished before May 3 when Divergent comes out.
I only downloaded Jenny Pox because Amanda Hocking raves about the author on Twitter. :D
I just finished
. I loved it! It has so many twist and turns; it's unlike any book I ever read. Now I'm going to read this
Well, I finally started Delirium. I'm not even half way through and I already LOVE IT! I hope it just gets better and better. It feels like it mixes the best parts of some other novels. Parts of it remind me of Uglies and other parts remind me of Matched. But, I like it better than both of those so far.
I love that series Mendy! So good! I had mixed feelings about The Replacement. You'll have to let me know what you think of it!
Yay Bethany! It's an awesome book!
Yay Bethany! It's an awesome book!
I finished Delirium. I can't say LOVE but I really liked it. I am looking forward to the nex book. I liked the Replacement. I thougt it was really interesting.
Gonna start Unwind now...and maybe The Knife of Never Letting Go.
That's how I felt about it Bethany, but I'm really excited for the next book! I hate cliffhangers! Unwind is AMAZING!!!!
Started
last night, and I'm almost halfway through it. I'm really liking it and can't seem to put it down.
The first book in that series is much better than the second and the second is much better than the third.I have ARC's! Yay amazon. I have Witches of the East End
I'm finally reading
. I was really excited about it a few months ago but I've had to wait quite a while to get it from the library so the excitement has worn off a bit. I'm also reading
a little bit at a time on my cell phone and it's really good so far!
Just finished
in the Georgina Kincaid series. I'm glad I stuck with it because it got better as it went along. I'm looking forward to the last book now. Thanks Jen for the recommendation to stay with it.I'm not sure what to read next.

I just finished The Replacement today. Here a few problems I had with the book. It's slow paced. I don't see a reason as to why the author add underage drinking. I expected there to more action and less of focus on Mackie's teen problems. The towns people knew that their children were being replace and went as far as to put up charms, but no one would dare speak about it til Tate. That by itself ridiculous. To be frank this book is a disappointment.
I've been getting back to my dystopian roots!
I remember reading these books for English class at high school. I've loved a good apocalypse ever since :P
Every few years I go back and fall in love with them all over again.

or
? both are excellent
Julie wrote: "I'm reading The Good, the Bad, and the Barbie: A Doll's History and Her Impact on Us
."Julie - I heard that was a pretty interesting book. You'll have to let us know what you think.
I'm almost done with
. It's not bad, but I'm far from blown away by it. :( Gonna start
and
...we'll see how they are.
The Barbie book was a really quick read. I think that it did a good job of exploring the history of Barbie's creator and how Barbie has changed over the years. It tries to give both sides- the "Barbie is a fun toy that lets little girls pretend to be grownups" side versus the "her figure is so unrealistic that she confuses young girls and gives them pressure to be thin" side.I thought it was interesting, but I don't think that I would have bought the book. It's really one of those books that is good to check out from the library but not really worth buying your own copy since it's so short.
Jen wrote: "Ok all, I'm starting
today!"Yay! I'm so glad. That's one of my faves. And the sequel comes out on Monday...I'm so excited. I hope you enjoy it!!
I finished Dark Life earlier today! Man, it was so good! Couldn't put it down! Are you sure the sequel is out on Monday? Cuz B&N and Amazon both say August 1st. But I want it now!!!
I'm finally reading The Forest of Hands and Teeth !! First week of summer vacation (from nursing school). Ahhh. I am really enjoying it so far.
Oh, and I haven't read Jenny Pox yet. My daughter finished it (she's 11), and didn't rave. LOL, so I picked something different. And I do love Zombies.
I hope you like The Forest of Hands and Teeth Katherine! Let us know what you think! :)
I just finished
which was awesome.I'm reading
right now which is ok.Apparently I have a huge amount of books arriving this week. My two vine ARC's plus all the new releases.
I'm getting back to my contemporary roots and rereading some old faves. Just about to finish the Travelling Pants series. Before this, I hadn't reread a book in so long! But there they all are, wasting away on my bookshelf. What a travesty! Ha ha.
Finished
. So good!! I loved the dialogue. So many great characters. Can't wait to start
. Any thoughts on it?

Great! Yes, I read a few reviews on here earlier and it seems like
might actually be even better than
. Can't wait to get started!
Love the Maze Runner series! Have you finished The Scorch Trials yet Candice? I thought that one was so good! I seriously can't wait for The Death Cure!
Jen, The Seven Realms series is probably my favorite fantasy series of all time! The Gray Wolf Throne is one of my most anticipated books of the year!
Sara, I got Spellbound from Netgalley and I've been meaning to start it soon!

Candice...I really liked that series too. For both The Maze Runner and Scorch Trials it took me a while to get into the story, but once I did, they didn't dissapoint. I am eagerly awaiting The Death Cure!!

Amanda, there is a second! It's called A Million Suns. So excited for it! Also, I have officially been converted to the Unearthly bandwagon. It is awesome! Enjoy! :)
