I loved that one too Rachel!

I just finished Eona The Last Dragoneye (Eon, #2) by Alison Goodman which was freaking amazing! I recommend the series to anyone who hasn't read them, the first book is kinda slow, but this one? Man, I couldn't put it down!

Katherine Draper | 58 comments You guys are going to keep me busy all summer... I am writing down so many recommendations! I can't wait to be done with this semester so I can just READ READ READ READ....

I am getting ready to start Jenny Pox as soon as my final is over on Wednesday. Hopefully I can get it finished before May 3 when Divergent comes out.

I only downloaded Jenny Pox because Amanda Hocking raves about the author on Twitter. :D

message 306: by Lovi (new)

Lovi | 14 comments I just finished Outside In (Inside Out, #2) by Maria V. Snyder . I loved it! It has so many twist and turns; it's unlike any book I ever read.
Now I'm going to read this The Replacement by Brenna Yovanoff

message 307: by Bethany (new)

Bethany Well, I finally started Delirium. I'm not even half way through and I already LOVE IT! I hope it just gets better and better. It feels like it mixes the best parts of some other novels. Parts of it remind me of Uglies and other parts remind me of Matched. But, I like it better than both of those so far.

message 308: by [deleted user] (new)

I love that series Mendy! So good! I had mixed feelings about The Replacement. You'll have to let me know what you think of it!

Yay Bethany! It's an awesome book!

message 309: by Bethany (last edited Apr 24, 2011 06:05PM) (new)

Bethany I finished Delirium. I can't say LOVE but I really liked it. I am looking forward to the nex book.

I liked the Replacement. I thougt it was really interesting.

Gonna start Unwind now...and maybe The Knife of Never Letting Go.

message 310: by [deleted user] (new)

That's how I felt about it Bethany, but I'm really excited for the next book! I hate cliffhangers! Unwind is AMAZING!!!!

Candice (thecrj) Started Wither (Chemical Garden, #1) by Lauren DeStefano last night, and I'm almost halfway through it. I'm really liking it and can't seem to put it down.

message 312: by Jen (new)

Jen (baynej) | 151 comments I picked up the The Declaration (The Declaration, #1) by Gemma Malley series - you guys read it?

message 313: by Sara (new)

Sara (meatball77) The first book in that series is much better than the second and the second is much better than the third.

I have ARC's! Yay amazon. I have Witches of the East End

message 314: by Julie (new)

Julie I'm finally reading Matched (Matched, #1) by Ally Condie . I was really excited about it a few months ago but I've had to wait quite a while to get it from the library so the excitement has worn off a bit.

I'm also reading Released (Agents of Evil, #1) by Megan Duncan a little bit at a time on my cell phone and it's really good so far!

message 315: by Amanda (new)

Amanda (amonika) Just finished Succubus Shadows (Georgina Kincaid, #5) by Richelle Mead in the Georgina Kincaid series. I'm glad I stuck with it because it got better as it went along. I'm looking forward to the last book now. Thanks Jen for the recommendation to stay with it.

I'm not sure what to read next.

I just finished The Replacement today. Here a few problems I had with the book. It's slow paced. I don't see a reason as to why the author add underage drinking. I expected there to more action and less of focus on Mackie's teen problems. The towns people knew that their children were being replace and went as far as to put up charms, but no one would dare speak about it til Tate. That by itself ridiculous. To be frank this book is a disappointment.

message 317: by Adela (new)

Adela Clancy now reading As Lie the Dead (Dreg City, #2) by Kelly Meding :)

message 318: by KyleeReads (last edited Apr 27, 2011 07:28AM) (new)

KyleeReads I've been getting back to my dystopian roots!

The Chrysalids by John Wyndham The Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham Z for Zachariah by Robert C. O'Brien Lord of the Flies by William Golding 1984 by George Orwell

I remember reading these books for English class at high school. I've loved a good apocalypse ever since :P

Every few years I go back and fall in love with them all over again.

message 323: by Jen (new)

Jen (baynej) | 151 comments Ok all, I'm starting Dark Life (Dark Life, #1) by Kat Falls today!

message 324: by ad (new)

message 325: by Julie (last edited Apr 29, 2011 04:32PM) (new)

Julie S. The Barbie book was a really quick read. I think that it did a good job of exploring the history of Barbie's creator and how Barbie has changed over the years. It tries to give both sides- the "Barbie is a fun toy that lets little girls pretend to be grownups" side versus the "her figure is so unrealistic that she confuses young girls and gives them pressure to be thin" side.

I thought it was interesting, but I don't think that I would have bought the book. It's really one of those books that is good to check out from the library but not really worth buying your own copy since it's so short.

Candice Abraham (candiceabraham) Great! Yes, I read a few reviews on here earlier and it seems like The Scorch Trials (Maze Runner, #2) by James Dashner might actually be even better than The Maze Runner (Maze Runner, #1) by James Dashner . Can't wait to get started!
