I've never actually thrown a book but boy have I wanted to throw a few (never going to actually throw since I usually read on my kindle). The two that I really, really wanted to throw that come to mind were
. I was mad because all the hype made me expect it to be great. I couldn't stand the whiney heroine. I thought she treated Travis like crap. I loved him at the begining of the book but felt like she totally emasculated him by the end of the book. The other was Again a lot of hype & 5 star reviews. I thought this was one the worst books I've ever read. It was all I could due to finish it. I kept reading thinking "something major is going to change. People love this book. Something has to change". Nope, no change. The girl meets her later love interest when she is 5 years old & he's 23. Ummm...yeah. 5 & 23. Why I didn't stop there I don't know. It was just full of violence, disrespect to women & children, cheating on spouses, rape scenes, crime. I was equally mad at the author for writing this book & myself for reading it.

I threw one of the outlander books across the room because I hated how she ended it but overall I love the series. I threw the last 2 sookie books and I threw the last couple Steph Plum books - well I threw the first but the others were on my kindle so I threw them in my head...not as satisfying to push delete

I can't read sookie books at all because she kills my romantic heart....sookie is just does not seem to have my favorite 'forever and ever happily in love thingy'

Oh..oh...I truly hated the end of 'nocturne'...it started as a great paranormal story but the end made me feel very angry and I could not toss the darn book 'cos it was a library book.....

I didn't throw it but I wanted too because if I had to read about Julia crying one more time. I would have lost it. I get it she had a rough childhood. Still doesn't mean she needs to cry because someone said boo!

I really wanted to like this; the beginning had me with butterflies in my tummy. It was so smart and literate As the book progressed, Julia was beyond whiny and Gabriel got bossy in a non-hot, pedantic way. I threw this baby across the street, not across the room.

I agree I had such high hopes. I felt her anxiety about being near Gabriel and her pain over him not remembering her. Then she just wouldn't stop whining and crying and it kept getting more and more annoying.

Here's the other thing that irritated the living crap out of me was the seen after Gabriel realize that she was his 'Beatrice' and she goes all badass on him in the middle of the class room. It was so stupid, I don't care how mad she was it did not fit with who she was before or after that.

I included that in my review, Teresa. I actually liked the book right up until that part. It was so out of character that it pulled me right from the story, and I was never drawn back in.

I felt the same. That book was like a train wreck for me I just couldn't put it down even though I hated Jesse soooo much I was certain he would be like the only person in the world who would incite me to violence.

One book that I almost threw against the wall (but refrained because it was on my iPod) was - the (view spoiler)[the Ethan/Amber scene (hide spoiler)] had me almost giving up on the series in the first book. Glad I stuck with it though.

Two books I was ready to throw across the room were

Corralled and Lover At Last

Corralled because I was getting so fed up with each of the guys going more and more outlandish in the bedroom department to win over the "heroine" in the book.

Lover At Last because I was gettin so frustrated with the ammount of subplots getting chucked in there and not enough time was being spent to develope the relationship between Qhuinn and Blay

I've never literally thrown a book across the room, but there's definitely been a couple times where I've had the urge to do so out of frustration.

because I couldn't stand the heroine. because the dialogue was horrendous. And because it was an enormously disappointing ending to my favorite YA series.
