JennRenee (jennreneeread) This are great challenges Angela! Thank you! I tried to send you a message but I was getting an error page from Goodreads.

I cant wait to get started and will post my selections in a little bit.

JennRenee (jennreneeread) Ok so far this is what I have Marked (House of Night, #1) by P.C. Cast this one has been on my shelves for way over 6 months and I keep putting it off.

Boneshaker (The Clockwork Century, #1) by Cherie Priest this series really looks interesting. I know I have a ton of other series I have started, but there are still a ton more I would like to start.

Angela Sunshine (angelasunshine) I'm going with Jerk, California by Jonathan Friesen for my out with the old... I've been wanting to read it all year, but hadn't squeezed it in yet.

And for my series I've been anxiously awaiting the release of Entice (Need, #3) by Carrie Jones so I'll use it when it ships towards the middle of the month.

Not sure which book will make me smile, hoping there's more than one of them!

message 5: by JennRenee (new)

JennRenee (jennreneeread) I am not sure which will make me smile yet either of course many do make me smile. I am looking for one to give my some fuzzies.

Kellee Moye (kelleemoye) I love the names of your challenges :) I'm already scheming about what to read :)

Angela Sunshine (angelasunshine) 1. Out With the Old...
I finished Jerk, California yesterday. It was really good, why'd I wait so long?!

Is the series worth reading? I have the first one on audio and I just never want to pick it....

message 12: by JennRenee (new)

JennRenee (jennreneeread) I liked the first one but have not read any of the others as of yet. I really enjoyed the first one. its a little different then a lot of fairy stories.

I'm with Jennifer. It's a different kind of faerie story, which is good for me because I don't like them very often.

It's not my favorite series, but interesting enough that I've read all three so far!

Kellee Moye (kelleemoye) Jennifer & Angela:

Do you you only get the 5 points once? Or can you get it as many times as you meet the challenge?

Thanks for the help.

message 17: by JennRenee (last edited Dec 28, 2010 01:43PM) (new)

JennRenee (jennreneeread) its 5pts for the first one then for any additional books read its 1pt. is that what you are asking? I really dont think its ever been discussed before so we can have it 5pts for any book read for that challenge. What do you think Angela?

I'm fine with it either way. I do think that the ongoing challenges should still be worth only 1pt per book, though, or we'll be racking them up with the books that don't fit anywhere else!

message 20: by JennRenee (new)

JennRenee (jennreneeread) Ok so if our extra books fit into the a challenge we can rack up the same amount of points for those books.

Kellee, each one for the challenges for 5pts can be racked up. So go for it.
