Well, I'll see if I can read this in time judging how long my library takes to process this book:
since I already read
Amy ~Lover of Books~ wrote: "Also, I thought
was already chosen in another random list?"That is true. It was on list 100, which is the last list before we start over.
Well, I recently bought the ebook version of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone so this might be a good opportunity to re-read it.
Definitely
for me. Between last night and this morning, I just read Divergent. Can't wait to read the next installment.
*****
I completed this one before I slept last night (11/9) and I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed the book! A 42-year-old lifemate thinking her new "younger" friend is gay... Two things not true - he's 500 years and he's NOT gay ;) Gotta love the plot!
I finished
last week. The book was quite funny, and I had a lot of fun reading about Stephanie's shenanigans. 4 stars.
I finished The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight today, 11/14. I also started it today. I couldn't put it down. I loved every page of this book. I felt Hadley's pain over her issues with her parents, her feelings for the guy she just met, her maturing, growing and dealing with what life throws at you. The author captured a 17 year olds angst and confusion and hope so well. A very enthusiastic 5 stars.
Random Book List #105I read Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor and I really enjoyed it! It took about 2/3 of the book to finally understand what was going on but I really enjoyed it! It's definately a different type of story, very Romeo and Juliet but I do like the setting and the character types. Will definately read the next one!
Hee, I just read this story. I give it a *** I like it but I don't REALLY like it. However, it's a cute story - one of the family got kidnapped by a mortal and it turns out that the kidnapper was her life mate whose kid was dying.
Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - ★★★★★ - 21 Nov 12 (instead of
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows)
It's been awhile since I read this book, though I've heard it countless time in audio version. I was still charmed by it.
I read the ebook version. I'm not much of an ebook reader, but this is a series I will re-read again, and to have an easily transportable set is wonderful. I'm looking forward to reading books 4-7 in this format. Holding even their paperbacks for extended periods was hard on the hands so I've re-read them less.

Oooh! That's hard! I'm going to try to read 2 books:
Both of them are next in the series that I'm reading anyway... Mockingjay will be the first then Passion if I have a chance! :)
I read
for
12/5. I really liked this one. I still think Kristen Ashley could benefit from an editor, but I do enjoy her characters and Tanya was awesome. Also super sweet epilogue, as usual :) 4 stars.
Finshed
today!I liked this book and found it really humorous. The one thing that irked me was Jason's referral to Haley as his 'little grasshopper.' Ok...we get it. You're the Mr. Miyagi to her grasshopper. It was a cute parallel the first time you said it....and even the second. But it's like he forgot her name, and for the rest of the book, referred to her only as his little grasshopper. I almost have a desire to re-read the book and count how many times he refers to Haley as his 'little grasshopper.' Still, it was a cute story, and I loved her sports obsession, since that's basically me....especially with football.
3 stars!
Bre wrote: "I finished Playing for Keeps. Gave it 3 stars, it was a cute, fun read. No complaints, but it wasn't a book that completely drew me in and had me not wanting to put it down"
I finished The Peach Keeper on Dec 18. I liked it and rated it 3 stars. Sadly, I don't think Magic-Realism and I are going to be the best of friends. I like Sarah Addison Allen's writing though.
Just finished
.Another funny, tongue-in-cheek, don't-take-too-seriously romance from R.L. Mathewson. I really enjoy the author's writing, and her characters are just hilarious. I give it 4 stars.
I just finished
and I definitely will give it a 5 stars. This one captivates me the most out of this trilogy and it was sad to end this trilogy. Excellent writing and I love Katniss' point of view in this book.
3 starsFor some reason, I have somewhat struggled with the series and yet I need to know what happen next so I'll be reading the next book in the series shortly.
finished
for
12/26. ★★★★Read it while I was home for the holidays with my family. My two sisters actually read it also and we spent many conversations arguing which was the better book, Jason/Haley or Trevor/Zoe. I voted Trevor/Zoe. XD
Random Book List #110I read
for this challenge and I'm shocked. I thought the first book was horrible, but I think the author's writing has improved! It was actually tolerable! ***

I totally neglected this challenge last couple of months. But I will try to get back in the saddle. ;)Still contemplating what will I pick. Probably it will be: The Shattered Dark...
Gonna try for
in place of
. One of these days, I'll be able to read an actual book on the list and not play catch up! Haha
finished
1/10, ★★★★Even though I'm pretty used to KA's books by now... and even though I cringe at the grammar/spelling/editing mistakes... KA still is a very good storyteller. Dragged a bit in some parts, but it kept me captivated enough to keep coming back. :D
this time i can't manage to participate i have to many things to do this month plus i have already started two very big books
Random Book List #115I read Fifty Shades Freed by E.L. James and it was too long. The story left my annoyed. These books are too long and the characters get really annoying. I'm listening to these on audiobook and after 17 discs, I'm over the hype. The narrator is HORRIBLE at any other voice but Anna's. I'm glad I finished this trilogy but I have no desire to read it again. I feel like I've finished a marathon and I'm exhausted. **
Book List #115
Rating: ★★★
I've finished reading this book and the story is sweet but too YA for me. The thing I like about this book is how descriptive it is of Paris and reading about the places that I am hoping to visit one day. When I am done with the book, the urge to book a ticket and fly to Paris is sooooo strong.
I finished
1/23. The reviews were all over the place for this one so I wasn't sure.....but I really liked it. Most of the story revolved around Mark's debilitating shyness and how he has to cope with a sudden change in his normal routine. I enjoyed meeting Mark's circle of family and friends and his love interest. I felt for Mark and was rooting for his HEA/HFN with Seth. 4*
I finished
last Jan. 24. Another fun romp with Stephanie Plum. I like the new characters, especially Sally the tranvestite. 4 stars.
Almost forgot to post... Finished The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo yesterday, just in time. 5 stars for a captivating story with some twists that I didn't expect at all. Am looking forward to the next one already
I know I'm a day late and a dollar short, but I'll blame my sickness yet again for the delay. I did finish
, though it was today. Nevertheless, I'll still post my score here. I give it 3 stars. It would have been 4-4 1/2 if it wasn't for Ashley's tremendous need for an editor and thesaurus. There's only so many times I can read a man's voice being described as 'gravelly' and remain sane. Still....it was a great story, and I enjoyed it.Rating: ★★★
