That is true. It was on list 100, which is the last list before we start over.

*****
I completed this one before I slept last night (11/9) and I can say that I thoroughly enjoyed the book! A 42-year-old lifemate thinking her new "younger" friend is gay... Two things not true - he's 500 years and he's NOT gay ;) Gotta love the plot!

I read Daughter of Smoke & Bone by Laini Taylor and I really enjoyed it! It took about 2/3 of the book to finally understand what was going on but I really enjoyed it! It's definately a different type of story, very Romeo and Juliet but I do like the setting and the character types. Will definately read the next one!

Hee, I just read this story. I give it a *** I like it but I don't REALLY like it. However, it's a cute story - one of the family got kidnapped by a mortal and it turns out that the kidnapper was her life mate whose kid was dying.

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone - ★★★★★ - 21 Nov 12 (instead of
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows)
It's been awhile since I read this book, though I've heard it countless time in audio version. I was still charmed by it.
I read the ebook version. I'm not much of an ebook reader, but this is a series I will re-read again, and to have an easily transportable set is wonderful. I'm looking forward to reading books 4-7 in this format. Holding even their paperbacks for extended periods was hard on the hands so I've re-read them less.

Both of them are next in the series that I'm reading anyway... Mockingjay will be the first then Passion if I have a chance! :)

I liked this book and found it really humorous. The one thing that irked me was Jason's referral to Haley as his 'little grasshopper.' Ok...we get it. You're the Mr. Miyagi to her grasshopper. It was a cute parallel the first time you said it....and even the second. But it's like he forgot her name, and for the rest of the book, referred to her only as his little grasshopper. I almost have a desire to re-read the book and count how many times he refers to Haley as his 'little grasshopper.' Still, it was a cute story, and I loved her sports obsession, since that's basically me....especially with football.
3 stars!

Another funny, tongue-in-cheek, don't-take-too-seriously romance from R.L. Mathewson. I really enjoy the author's writing, and her characters are just hilarious. I give it 4 stars.

This one captivates me the most out of this trilogy and it was sad to end this trilogy. Excellent writing and I love Katniss' point of view in this book.

For some reason, I have somewhat struggled with the series and yet I need to know what happen next so I'll be reading the next book in the series shortly.

Read it while I was home for the holidays with my family. My two sisters actually read it also and we spent many conversations arguing which was the better book, Jason/Haley or Trevor/Zoe. I voted Trevor/Zoe. XD

Still contemplating what will I pick. Probably it will be: The Shattered Dark...

Even though I'm pretty used to KA's books by now... and even though I cringe at the grammar/spelling/editing mistakes... KA still is a very good storyteller. Dragged a bit in some parts, but it kept me captivated enough to keep coming back. :D

I read Fifty Shades Freed by E.L. James and it was too long. The story left my annoyed. These books are too long and the characters get really annoying. I'm listening to these on audiobook and after 17 discs, I'm over the hype. The narrator is HORRIBLE at any other voice but Anna's. I'm glad I finished this trilogy but I have no desire to read it again. I feel like I've finished a marathon and I'm exhausted. **

Rating: ★★★
I've finished reading this book and the story is sweet but too YA for me. The thing I like about this book is how descriptive it is of Paris and reading about the places that I am hoping to visit one day. When I am done with the book, the urge to book a ticket and fly to Paris is sooooo strong.
