All things considered, I've done pretty damn good.

:-)
I know its been hard, but with the ban lifted this month...I know its been necessary. I'm going to try and curb myself here soon.

Well, yeah. There are only 10 days left in the month! LOL

Here are some:

While there, there were two old ladies who bought children's books for a good cause. And the "Red-Dot" sale table is still full of books.

Aaaahh, that's so bad. Library sales are the BEST...even if some of the books aren't in great condition.
Hope they reschedule the library sale soon.

How do you get the Fictionwise coupons? I have an account there, but I never receive any emails from them.

I never receive them either. I only get them through word of mouth.

So...

If you want the big picture of my damage, check out this link:

that doesn't count my ebooks that I've bought. Those are about 6 -8..not sure at the moment.
If it make any difference today was a lot of emotional buying..I've been weepy and depressed and I'm not sure why :( so why not buy books right??
I'm sick!

Then it can't count against you because it's for your mental health.
**hugs**

thanks..I'm going to try and limit myself to ebooks only now...cuz thats where the gift card resides. My pocket book needs a break.
On a positive note...all 37 of those books are on their way to me in several batches! It will feel awesome as they start pouring in over the next week or so!!!

I still broke my NYR with the other books, but I think I'll allow myself those 2 extra in April..."
I'm big into having the original release book for authors I collect so I'll deal with the old ones not being in the greatest condition.

I'm the same way. Unless a re-realease has a lot more information in it, or my original is in such bad shape that it might fall apart if I open it, I won't buy the new ones.
An example is

Just a suggestion - be sure to read the Pamela Clare Blakewell/Kenleigh trilogy in order. I read Ride the Fire first, and while it worked as a stand alone, it would have been much sweeter had I read them in order.

Cool thanks for the info:-)

Really. we all pale compared to you. Of course you'll have read all those books by the end of the month too right???
I feel so much better about my addiction when yours is staring me in the face!!
:)

Only the two first... I'm def looking forwards to reading them!

I live to serve:-) Maybe by the end of April, lol, since they do take two weeks to get here!

What does all this have to do with my addiction you ask?
Well, you see...I've bought 37 books from betterworld that I'm waiting on to be delivered and it just doesn't sit well with me. Doesn't sit well at all.
So...I propose I remedy that and buy just three more books from them to round things off to a nice number. Now I realize I could buy one more and it would be an even number but the deal is 3 for $10 so it fits nicely with my even numbered neediness.
What 3 books do you think I should buy????!!!
:-)

***wearily** I know... But I think I'm going to try a book buying ban till end of April (I don't want too big of a shock to my system, lol), except for books that are part of a series I'm already reading:-D

Aw.... So generous of you Dhes:-D

Don't know how people don't take advantage of you and send you books every week:-D

If you figure it out, let me know so I can fix that! LOL

Will do, but I think that's in the realm of fantasy:-D Talking of which, I'm fantasizing about my bed right now, so TTY'all 2morrow! x

Thanks for the tip, Bekah. I used the one Dhestiny posted yesterday to order about 10 e-books today. Like I really need any more excuses to buy books, but hey, they were 50% off. I'm saving money.;-)

I spent $60......It was beautiful *cries* didn't want to leave, I didn't know you could bring a wagon! i will in October for round 2, LOL

Amanda - what's this place you need to bring a wagon to? (if you were asking me, yep, they're bought and paid for, lol)

I buy books for book club if I have to, but because of my schedule I am not doing challenges at the moment..but it was something I had to watch when I was doing them.
