I personally think it's wonderful! I don't usually read mystery because I rarely have the patience and attention span, but surprisingly I can actually get through Cuckoo's Calling and enjoyed it. So yeah, I definitely recommend it!
Enjoyed The Secret History a lot, no wonder it was an instant classic.I also went out of my comfort zone and read Just One Day :p I liked it :p
Bracing myself to read the sequels, but just not ready yet.
So, currently reading Captain Corelli's Mandolin
I finished The Night Circus couple nights ago and I am now over the hangover. I was thinking about reading The Titan's Curse/ City of Ashes/ Miss Peregrine's. Any recommend for which book shall i read first?

Janice wrote: "Not reading anything currently, although I have several books that I will soon read.. Has anyone here ever read The Cuckoo's Calling? I'm thinking of getting it on Kindle"Cuckoo's Calling is goooood;for detective-story readers,it may be predictable but still enjoyable.Recommended.

I am reading Innocent Blood by James Rollins and Rebecca Cantrell.
The first I read as a buddy read (it's not really my genre, see). But I ended up loving it! HA! So here I am, continuing the series on my own.
*slowly, but surely, tackling my TBR pile*

I just finished Graffiti Moon by Cath Crowley. It was amazing. I loved every single part of it. For those who like YA, you should give this a go.
And now I'm juggling Innocent Blood (still) and Elantris, Part 1 of 3, the graphic audiobook! I'm very excited.

The Culture Code: An Ingenious Way to Understand Why People Around the World Live and Buy as They Dounderstanding how our subconscious really perceive our daily activities. it's really fascinating to see how time and again we rationalize and give ourselves alibi... unconsciously fool ourselves into saying things we dont mean! very informative but beware his writing structure is quite repetitive.. nevertheless u get to know different cultural habits ranging from japan, china, european countries and of course america :p

Hi Firda. I've been thinking about buying the book. Is it good?
I'm currently reading back to back between Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies by Jared Diamond and One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel García Márquez. Both were fascinating so far, though it's progressing rather slow because I've been busy these days. :(
Nisrina Azizah wrote: "I'm currently reading 1984 by George Orwell. Has anyone finished reading this book?"It's in my To read list since forever lol.
Every time i want to start theres always another book that suddenly pops up for me to read instead...
@Natasha : the premise is very interesting, the plot is, well, definitely not bad, but I am not sure, it feels just like.. meh. I think the problem is more with me than with the book itself, since after been used to reading classics I just can't bring myself to be carried by the book's narrative style (the turn of speech and so on).If you are more used to contemporary fiction I think this book is just fine.
