One simply cites a book title that incorporates a number that is one more than was previously cited. Since not all numbers are used in book titles gaps are permissable but if someone can cite a title they gain bragging rights by typing CHALLENGE and filling in the gap.
To keep things moving one CAN concede by starting a new series but no book titles should be reused. If they are THAT can be challenged by citing the number of the post.
