Need a new book to read

I have just finished with the Laurell K. Hamilton, vampire series and the Merry Gentry. I loved them and was disappointed when I read them all. Does anyone know of another series that is along the same subject and is good?

I haven't read any Hamilton but these are the paranormals I've rated highly recently.

Vampires -
- Black Dagger Brotherhood by J.R. Ward - AMAZING!!!!!
- Dark series by Christine Feehan (this is a series that gains in depth and scope as it goes on - there's a Dare you to read challenge for the entire series)
- Night huntress series by Jeaniene Frost (read but not rated yet on GR)
- The Chosen Sin by Anya Bast (stand alone)

Other Paranormals -
- Dragon Kin Series by G.A. Aiken
- Stormwalker Series by Allyson James

YEA rad them but what you should really read is book:Vampire Academy,book:Blood Promise,
book:Frostbite, book:Shadow Kiss. its the best romance,vampire,action packed book evaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!! hope ya read them!! theres more series and the ones i wrote arent in oreder although vampire academy is the first book.

I’m looking for some recommendations for new books as well... I came across the concept of the four apocalypse horsemen. But, I wanted to read a book that maybe revolved around the concept of them vs an eating disorder. Are there any books out there with some YA romance?

Michelle - I would suggest the Lords of the Underworld series by Gena Showalter. It has a darker element to it that fans of Laurell K Hamilton may enjoy.

I have read the prelude and the first book of this series... I enjoyed it but felt it was lacking in certain areas... does it improve through the series?

Its just one of my favs its really good and in the first and second books you will never guess who she really ends up with in the 10 book i cant wait for the 11 12 13 books

Sherrilyn Kenyon, dark hunter series a definate must read for me, also enjoyed merry gentry series, and laurell k hamilton's anita blake series is similar, and there are plenty books in the series to las a while.
