This is actually the first I've read in this series, and they're trying to save a family member and almost all the rest of the family shows up. I literally was flipping to the front genealogy chart all through the book trying to figure out who everyone is...maybe should have started with book #1!

Maybe PamelaReader or AvidFlame were stepping stones to a new identity. In any event, Ms. FlameReader has a birthday on the 9th of this month. And on her shelf I found Valley of Silence by Nora Roberts (11/2)

7. The biggest downside of running through a series of books that you really like is that once you finally catch up, you have to wait for more to be made. I propose a new rule. No author shall allow more than six months between before the next book is published in an unfinished series. I don't know, six months is still a long time to wait for the next book. I said yes, but I've only read 3 books this month ... too busy doing Christmas knitting not enough reading. Hope to find more time in December!
Elise, nobody is going to be upset if you spent more time on one hobby than another. If knitting is making you happy this month then I'm happy for you. Besides, there are millions of people who didn't read three books this YEAR. If that's what you found time to do, then I hope they were good books.Don't belittle your accomplishments because you've done better in one aspect in the past.
Done all I could do for this month! Sucks that I had to get a second job for the holidays. It cuts into my my reading time! LOL.4/4 Completed
