thanks girl, i appreciate it :)
My library's used book sale is today. Everything a dollar or less! I'm totally excited to go check it out and blow some hard-earned money.
Becca wrote: "My library's used book sale is today. Everything a dollar or less! I'm totally excited to go check it out and blow some hard-earned money."Um yeah...I have 4 boxes of books to read from all my library sales! This is why I have an ereader that I never read on! I love libraries!
Finally got
! I find it weird that it's slightly bigger than my two other Iron Fey books! Now they don't match haha!
Went online & ordered
&
. I had checked them out at the library to read, and LOVED them so much... that I had to have them for myself!! LOL These are the first 2 books I've read in a long time that I felt deserved a 5-star rating... that's how much I loved them! ;)

So I found
,
, and
for myself, all in hardcover, and got my son a ton of books from the childrens' section of the sale. I also got several children's chapter books on audio that I loved as a kid like Bruce Coville's Magic Shop series. Love, love, love library sales.
Carmel wrote: "You'd be happy to get a h/cover of On the Jellicoe Road Becca!! Aren't the covers of the other two just beautiful!"Gorgeous! It's the first thing that drew me into reading Marillier. I saw Wildwood Dancing's cover and picked it up immediately. Love it.
Becca wrote: "So I found

Myra Beth wrote: "Becca wrote: "So I found

I would be reading through a scene and flip to the cover and think, "Oh my goodness, there's what I'm reading about" and it happened lots of times.
just found out that amazon is soooo much cheaper than the current webside I use. so naturally I got carried away and bought:

[bookcover:..."OMG, Sofie, that's quite a haul!! Enjoy.
I know and I just bought 5 more because I can't seem to stop. I think I'm done shopping for at least this month.
Sofie wrote: "I know and I just bought 5 more because I can't seem to stop. I think I'm done shopping for at least this month."I know exactly what you mean! I already have 45 books on my bookshelves at home to read and, yesterday, I had to go out and buy 2 more. I tell you, there is an invisible string attached to me and the bookstore and it pulls me in every time I walk by! :)
ditto. every time I see a bookstore I have to go in eventhough I know they don't have anything I want to buy because most of the books are translated to danish and danish just falls short to the original and anyway it's cheaper to buy the english version online. so when I'm buying books online I'm buying big! because I tend to think " hey this is sooo cheap!" this is a decease or what I like to call my "book sense". Just glad I'm not the only one.btw my TBR list is like 100 books long.
Sofie wrote: "ditto. every time I see a bookstore I have to go in eventhough I know they don't have anything I want to buy because most of the books are translated to danish and danish just falls short to the or..."Ouch! Well, 45 books are the ones I actually own. I have over 100 on my wishlist that I really want to buy, but I'm holding off until I get some of the others read. Goodreads just has too many great books listed and my friends keep sending book recommendations that I can't resist.
I own over 100 books that I haven't read yet. but still I buy more every month so if I end with a broken leg I might get the pile down a little. I also have about 150 on a wishlist. This is a vicious circle.

Becca wrote: "Myra Beth wrote: "Becca wrote: "So I found

Myra Beth wrote: "Becca wrote: "Myra Beth wrote: "Becca wrote: "So I found

And her Sevenwaters series is my absolute favorite although I would have to say Son of Shadows is my favorite over Daughter of the Forest by a very slight margin. I looked for all of them at my library sale, but sadly only found the Wildwood books.
Wendy F wrote: "I own over 100 that I need to read too. I hate thinking about it."me too. My boyfriend always points out that I have soo many that I haven't read yet. but whatever I'm buying is just soo good. you know what I mean. And I like to have something to choose from.
Oh man, in the heat of the moment I want the new book so bad. And it looks so gooood! I just forget that all the other books I bought also look 'soooo good', and I keep putting off reading them because the new book take me over.
It's a sickness.
Julie wrote: "I just got

Haha, exactly!Heidi attempted an intervention for me once... needless to say, it didn't really work.
Sofie wrote: "If someone tries that I'm turning into gollum. you do NOT take away my books."Fair warning. Thanks. :)
I just got
.I told myself I wasn't gonna buy any more books for a while since so I have so many waiting for me already but I found this bind up for sale and had to get it, lol.
I'm at the library and I just checked out

And I found

Yay for North of Beautiful and Hex Hall!
I think it is a great book for young ladies to read that is why I loved it so much. The world needs more books like that IMO.
