this past week I purchased
and a few more that will be in the mail soon. NookBooks -
For review i got,
and Egalleys -
and
its been a busy week for me :)
Wow that is a ton of books Megan! Traci - Sam Club and Target are the two worst places for me to look at books - I always want to buy them!
I got a Sony Pocket Reader. Not a book exactly but book related and it will make it easier to read my NetGalleys. Now I need to sign up for a library card so I can borrow ebooks for it. I am reading
on it now and LOVING it. I already have a Kindle (1st generation) but I love them both for different reasons. I hope I don't seem like I am bragging. I am just really excited. :) It is so tiny and adorable and has a touch screen. I know... my nerd is showing LOL!

Yes! Thanks. I am very happy. I forgot to mention it is an e-ink touch screen. So it doesn't strain the eyes. I was reading on it last night and lost tract of time LOL. Also it says and expiration date under the info on the book so it is perfect for NetGalley and library because it keeps track of how much time you have left to read them <3
Nice haul, Alyssa! :) I am reading Delirium right now. I see a lot of people reading it right now. It is interesting so far. I am going to do a bit more reading in a few minutes. I keep wanting to read more and more. :)I am curious about Twenty Boy Summer but I want to read it in the summer time.
bought
today when I skipped class in order to walk to the independent bookstore a couple blocks away. (might I add, that it was a comp lit class. ...I skipped a literature class, to go buy books. ..I am ridiculous) It sounds like a cute read, but I don't know when I'll have time to pick it up. :(

Oh forgot to mention I got a NOOK color Tuesday!!!!! How could I possibly let that slip my mind!? haha Gratz AVegan. Why couldnt you use the Kindle for egalleys? I am not too familiar with the 1st gen Kindles
Let's see, I got the following...
are all new on my kindle.I ordered
in hardcover because I loved it so much. And I got
on Audio.
We're book shopaholics! lol! Wendy I've been meaning to get First Grave on the Right but I'm trying to limit my ebook buying to one or two, or as fast as I can read them. (but where is the fun in that right?)
LOL, I need to limit my ebook buying too. It's crazy.Darynda Jones was chatting with JR Ward on her website last Friday. It piqued my interest.

They are supposed to be getting Kindle function back for NetGalley soon. Only some publishers had it back. None of them were ones I worked with. I also wanted to borrow from the library which I don't think any generation of Kindles can do yet (someone can correct me if I am wrong) I am loving my Sony though. It is so cute and lightweight. It feels so natural to read on it. It is like a small notebook in size. I lucked out and found a cover for it on clearance at Target for about 8 dollars. :) It was originally a 25 or 30 dollar cover I think! :) The cover is light and dark pink. Love it! I still love my Kindle and have lots of books I haven't read on it so I am trying to alternate between both readers and paper books.

I just got several books in the mail from Amazon and I am SUPER excited!!!
and I bought these books at the store yesterday:
I have a lot of reading to do!!! ;)

Okay, so I totally surprised myself with this because I'm not much on drama....so I had been putting these books off but after talking to the librarian she convinced me to give these books a try....and I LOVE them!!
I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the series!
For m Kindle I just got...
From Borders I just got...
I'm really really sad because my Borders is one of the ones that they are closing down. I don't like Barnes & Noble as much.
Just downloaded a free copy of Returning by Pat Whitaker. I love wolves and, although the book is not about that magnificent animal, they are mentioned in the first quarter of the book and the cover absolutely intrigues me!
Just got
from the library; I persuaded them to order it ages ago and have been waiting for it ever since. That said, I don't exactly have high hopes for it - the reviews I've seen in the meantime haven't been too complimentary! We shall see, when I get around to it..
Picked up a bunch of freebies on the Sony Store for my new Pocket Reader. I got some classics, romance, YA and PNR. Quite a variety. :) Have so many more I want that aren't free though...
Just got "Across the Universe" in the mail. =) I'm excited about it!

Huge grin!
So my Borders is closing and they have put everything 20-40% off and I made my bf drop by before our movie date on Saturday because I was afraid that everything would be gone. I usually go in with a list of books that I want but this time I was flying blind and battling masses of people but I grabbed
- stoked because when i read it before it was a library book and now it is all mine! and
Now I need to get a list together and go back armed and ready. I couldn't believe how many freaking people were there - each had at least 5 books in their arms.
It was bedlam - there weren't even parking spaces available. I wanted to go to the kids section and grab some books for my niece and nephews but it was like soccer mom throw down over there.

She said the line was wrapped around the store.
I'm on vacation next week so I'm tempted to drop the rugrat off at school and get there first thing in the morning, lol.
