I really wish we had a chance to see the rest of Pritkin's reaction to Cassie shaving his legs.
The body swap...omg...I don't remember a time I have laughed so hard. I think the BEST part was either the shaved legs or Mircea dragging Pritkin off...I just...can't handle it...

The shaved legs scene was great. Anyone else wish they could have seen Pritkin's face if Cassie actually told him she thought he had a pretty dick?

I'm imagining that Cassie would say something like that after she'd been drugged with pain meds or hit on the head or something."You know, Pritkin, has anyone ever told you that you have a very pretty dick?" Pritkin stopped trying to examine my head and just stared. "Because it is, you know," I continued as the room kept spinning. "Pretty, that is." One of the vamps started snickering as Pritkin turned bright red. "Miss Palmer, I hardly think that's appropriate," he sputtered indignantly.

Maybe Cassie will tell Rosier in the next book that his son has a very pretty dick! I wonder if even the cynical Rosier might be a bit speechless at that LOL!
Well, Rosier has gone out of his way to amplify Cassie's attraction to Pritkin in the past. With her inhibitions removed, who knows what she'll say!I think that might just encourage Rosier further, though.

Then Mircea threw Pritkin out of a window and gave Cassie some new shoes.
Then Pritkin returned and burned the shoes.
In the mean time Marlowe was soptted running around being chased by two foriegn girls.'

hahahahaha sometimes I wish I had Cassie's spatial shifting capability. Not really her time shifting one, though. I'd be way too tempted to change something.

Lol, I picturing Pritkin trying to cope while we run screaming at him! He's dealt with some pretty dangerous situations in his profession...but I can't imagine him handling this one succesfully! :D

No doubt about it, Pritkin would take the monsters any day. At least their "charms" are easy for his incubus to resist!

Alright, so the reread of Curse the Dawn starts today. This one is one of my most favorite books in the series.We start off with Cassie tracking down Agnes to try to get some Pythia training and meet a certain blonde mage with a penchant for trying to alter history. Knowing what we know now, most of us are pretty certain as to who this guy must really be.
What were your first impressions of him? Did they change after learning what we did in Hunt the Moon?
It surprised me that she mentions that he's horse faced... Like Cassie's dad isn't attractive?
That surprised me, too. If he really is her dad, it seems that must be where Cassie's clumsiness comes from.
LOL! I hadn't considered the horse-faced angle!! :DI'm thinking of those scenes in Hunt the Moon when they're being chased by the Spartoi. I remember Cassie commenting on how the mage with Artemis was a bit crazy and all over the place, and Mircea actually took his side and said something like only movie heroes remain cool during a fight. It reminds me of how Cassie ends up in crazy situations with rat in her hair. I can totally see where she gets it from now!!
It's interesting to view that scene at the Houses of Parliament again, after Hunt the Moon. Never in a million years would we have considered who that guy actually was! I still want to know what Agnes did with him when she took him back to her time.
I can't remember if we talked about this before, but do you think Agnes had any idea who he was? She says to Cassie (in Curse the Dawn) that her heir had run off and she was training someone else, so this has to be after that party that Cassie and Mircea gatecrashed in Hunt the Moon. Roger Palmer was at that party, and not wearing any disguise since Cassie recognised him. There were quite a bunch of people there, so maybe Agnes never got introduced, but she'd definitely been around him before. I wondered if she remembered him.
I've always wondered what happened to him after Agnes took him, too. He remembers meeting Agnes and Cassie before he and Artemis run off from that party, but that technically happened both before and after the party. That boggles my mind a bit.
Oh god ... incoming brain implosion due to time travel shenanigans!
I literally just went "nope" and skimmed past that completely. Nuh uh. You can't make me.
