Heh. Heh. I'm gone for a bit and you're all here getting all sneaky... I'm on to you!Here's the deal... because so many books were listed that were later in a series, I OK'd reading book 1 in the series to get you started. I'm not going to worry about it if you choose to read subsequent books in a series, this time around. Ideally, the point is trying something new, so while my original intention had been to only try new things, I changed my mind and figure that this is also a way to clean off the TBR shelf. I'm HOPING however, that you'll at least try SOME new things.
That said, I'm going to read Rough, Raw and Ready, #5 in the Rough Riders series, as my 1 erotic choice. I've read all the other books in the series before this one, so I'm doing the same thing you're talking about doing.
But don't tell Dhestiny... it'll be our secret ;)

I was wondering -- to Alycia and D.G. - was it fun picking out books for the two of us who asked? I certainly found it fun sitting back and waiting to be fed.

Yes! I picked books that I already read and loved.

Oh yes...it's tons of fun! :) Although it's a bit nerve wracking to pick several books for one person...why if you don't like them?

The Daily Special:You can change your "meal plan" to include "dishes" which are part of an "offering" you've already partaken of.
Are you asking yourself, "What in God's name is she trying to say??" Well, here it is.
Let's say you've read book 1 in a series and you want to be able to continue that series, using the next book in that series as part of your meal plan. I'm allowing this, but only for one "food group." In other words, let's say you want to read Lover Mine as part of your Paranormal Food Group, and you've already read earlier books in the series. You can do this, but only with 1 book in this way, and only in 1 "food group." If you choose to continue with a series in PNR, then you cannot do it in RS also.

On the flip side D.G., what if we hurt your feelings and don't like what you picked?? :-)So far, its not been a problem for me...but i think its the gamble you take when you do it this way and I'm ok with that..the point is to try new things...
That's what I meant, Bekah! I also suggested books I really liked. It wouldn't hurt my feelings necessarily if the person didn't enjoy them as much as I did because I understand that we all have different tastes. :) But at the same time I'd feel bad if the person hated them because I'd feel that I made the person waste their time in something not up their alley.
That's why before suggesting anything, I try to take a look and see what the other person tastes are and go from there. :)
no worries from me for Alycia...I won't be upset. I appreciate her suggestions and the entire experience. I hope more people get to try this out in the future.!
