Quite simply, we got beaten by the team who wanted it more. GWS deserved the win.
Jesus christ my tipping is off to a bad start. I picked Freo, but only by two goals, picked the Swans and Richmond.. christ.Port tipped to win tonight though, lets do it boys.
I'm on 2/3 so far. Didn't see that GWS win coming at all. I've tipped Carlton, though I hope I'm wrong. It could go either way. If we play our best we should win.
Damnit Port, don't scare me like that.

I never understand people who tip against their own team. Especially not against Carlton - Port and Carlton aren't poles apart, I could understand maybe if it was Hawthorn or Freo in their current form, but if you're tipping against Port in my opinion you're rooting for them to lose :/

Wines and Westhoff and Gray were all amazing too. Good to see we can still win without players like Wingard or Boak playing well. Hopefully we can take that 4th quarter form into round 2!
I secured my tickets, I think its the Eastern stand. I'm incredibly nervous.

Christ, I picked Carlton too. Only got 6/9 last week, still leading tipping at work though.
I picked Richmond but I have to admit towards the end I thought it was in doubt.

From any perspective that was a crushing win, but when the Crows were in front halfway through the third quarter?South Australia has a new team for all South Australians.
Solid performance from Impey and White as well, loved the slapping the top! Polec too, obviously.Four quarter performance was great to see! Even without the 5-goal smashing at the end of the third quarter, you couldn't say that Port were losing it. Put the foot down and kept it down from the first siren.
Now to keep that going.

I was in the grand stand, when a crows supporter got up to leave he pulled down his pants and showed his butt to us all. About 4 Port supporters jumped on the opportunity to literally kiss his ass.
Hubby's a Crow's fan. He's not happy tonight either, Michael.On the other hand, I'm a West Coast Eagles supporter, and so I'm doing fine... (Mix a West Coast win with the few glasses of wine I enjoyed while watching the game... I'm a very happy camper) ;)

Ugh disgusting game. Crucial players getting injured, deplorable umpiring (serious wtf), Port playing terribly. Though I guess if all that equal a 7 point loss its not too bad. Bit of a reality check. Hopefully the injures aren't too bad. I think if Monfries had'nt injured himself and kicked the goal, we would have won...
He will probably be left out just to be safe. Should win without him, fingers crossed.

So you should be Michael. I think they are dong well and have some great players and coach.
Monfries out for no longer than a month, Wingard is out for this weekend too, Schulzy is good to play though.
Hopefully it'll be another good weekend for the Saints :P
