I'll be cheering the Sydney Swans on Michael...even though they aren't my normal team...I'd prefer them than the Hawks to win!!

lol!
haha...The Hawks are not too bad. Plus there's a few Hawks supporters in my family so I have a soft spot for them :)
Mmmm!! I will still go for the Swans though:) (I suspect they'll struggle, but I've got my fingers crossed!)
Yay and Yay! Two very happy Sydney Swans supporters here after watching our team take the cup home to Sydney. Cheering still the red and the white. Will be wearing red and white everywhere for a while.
Hate the footie off season :( but there is basketball (Perth Wildcats), baseball (Perth Heat) and T20 cricket (Perth Scorchers) to look forward to :)
Lol awesome to see so many swans supporters here. I live in Victoria so I'm used to being well outnumbered :)
I also am 0 & 2 in my footy tips so far, I can never pick Fremantle right, they go against me every time! lol, very glad to have the footy back though!
The way they're going at the moment, they wouldn't be able to play lawn bowls even, they've certainly forgotten how to play cricket! Very sad performance over there, not looking forward to the ashes!
Dean wrote: "Maybe our cricketers should learn a new sport. I hear lawn bowls can be fun......"I agree, but when the Aussies were winning everything I found cricket too boring. I'm never happy, lol
I am not into sports at all, which my other half constantly tries to change because he's mad about everything to do with sport. Soccer, cricket, basketball, footy - especially footy! Nowhere throughout the year is there an escape from sport :( lol

Curling up (away from the TV) with a good book, is my answer;)

But Port won Michael so you'll be ecstatic about that!!! They'll meet their match next week when they play the Crows though;)
I totally understand that Brenda. Hubby was looking at his 'Dream Team' working out how many points he'd scored whilst watching the game. LOL.
