Hi guys, just letting everyone know I'll be offline for a couple of weeks. We are leaving in a few hours for a cruise around the Pacific, and heading to NZ, so some welcome rest and relaxation is heading our way..LOL

Enjoy yourselves chatting and HAPPY READING!!!

Tracey Alley (traceya) | 485 comments Hope you have a wonderful time Brenda.
So sad to hear about Mandy and Gail - I just don't spend enough time here. As much as I enjoy reading everyone's posts I only have a limited amount of time so can only pop in from time to time to say howdy.
I'll also be offline for most of the next week while I get everything ready for the release of Slade's Destiny - hopefully then I'll have a little more time to read and spend chatting here.

Hey, my apologies for my unexplained absence. I've had a few issues at home that have needed sorting out. The issues are ongoing, but I need to re-join the living.

Tracey Alley (traceya) | 485 comments Gail it's great to hear from you and here's hoping your ongoing issues get sorted out easily and for the best possible outcome

Neko Have a safe and happy easter everyone!!! Watch out for those cotton tails or bunny foot prints as you may find some chocolate somewhere in your house :D

message 2163: by [deleted user] (new)

That reminds me. I'd better plaster that cotton tail on my butt and do some distributions. Happy Easter everyone.

message 2167: by Neko (new)

Neko The 'easter bunny' gave me a scare this morning..LOL

message 2168: by Neko (last edited Apr 23, 2011 11:27PM) (new)

Neko About 6am the Easter Bunny wants to place a chocolate rabbit on my desk...I'm a super light sleeper..Anyways, I hear my sliding door open, it connects my room to a wardrobe and my sisters room, and since Easter Bunny knows how light of asleeper I am thought this would be a good idea. But because it was still dark I couldn't properly see anything except for the door opening itself...It was spooky! Then I saw the 'Easter Bunny' and they appologised for waking/scaring me..lol

message 2169: by Amber (new)

Amber (elfkingdom) | 366 comments Hi, Happy Easter everyone!! :-) Hope nobody's OD on chocolate - thankfully, I didn't get much this year. Cos it's my birthday today as well as Easter Sunday, I got money and books rather than choccies lol :-) it's been an awesome day

message 2170: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks Carmel :-) it's been a really lovely day, I've been so spoilt - and it's extra special because my sister shares my birthday, though she's 3 years younger. And I never saw that comment about my book, but I am so glad your daughter liked it!! It might sound weird, but I'm actually sort of glad I never saw the other message - this way I can take her amazing comments as another little birthday gift lol But please thank her for me, it's a great feeling to know when someone has enjoyed ED!!

Khenan Bragador | 140 comments We didn't do the easter hunt this year :( Last year we found like 4 eggs in november.. its funny as my mum forgets where she hides them hahah :P

Michael (knowledgelost) Coffee is better than chocolate

message 2175: by [deleted user] (new)

coffee and chocolate are better together

message 2176: by [deleted user] (new)

have you sort medical help?

message 2177: by Jan (new)

Jan (auntyjan) My 19 year old daughter claims you're never too old for chocolate! (Ain't that the truth) But the best fun part was going to visit my granddaughters. I took a packet of mini eggs, and three year old Elka loved the Easter egg hunt so much she immediately wanted to do it all again!

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Lest we forget.

message 2179: by [deleted user] (new)

I don't like coffee so I know how you feel Michael. I feel like I am really missing out on something delicious but there is something wrong with me. :S

message 2180: by [deleted user] (new)

Sorry I forgot to continue reading when I got to the end of the page. I missed reading Davids post.

message 2181: by [deleted user] (new)

What about really really good quality Hot Cross Buns then?

And as for Easter Bunny I know he was at my hospital this weekend. As I was running to the lab at about 3am I found a trail of white footsteps leading from the lifts and meandering around the place, then a note appeared later in the lift saying how to look for EB. Methinks it has something to do with paediatrics being one floor below me???

I did have a wonderful day, Carmel - probably got more than I deserved lol I'm still so pleased your daughter enjoyed my book! It's a huge compliment to hear that; I wish her continued luck for uni, and would love to read her review when she's recovered :-)

Neko For owners of PS3 or a PSN account please keep an eye on your credit card details. Hacking has happened and they've apparently stolen everyones details and this possibly includes peoples CC details.

Currently you can't access the PSN to change anything like passwords. But if you've got the same PASSWORD for anything go and change it on other sites NOW especially if they are for online shopping.

Here is an FAQ to keep an eye on: http://faq.en.playstation.com/cgi-bin...

Also you can keep an eye on PlayStation Euro twitter account for more up-to-date news: http://twitter.com/#!/PlayStationEU

Ugghhhh....I hate not being able to check my account on PSN. I don't believe my CC details are in it but I don't remember since it was like 3 years ago that I might have put them into my account.

message 2198: by [deleted user] (new)

sony stuffed up big time!

message 2199: by Neko (new)

Neko Biiiiiig time! Some people said about 6 months ago someone found out that Sony doesn't encrpt peoples details- they did some sort of hack to find it out. Pretty terrible if this is true and then Sony DIDN'T freaking follow that up.

message 2200: by [deleted user] (new)

yea well in the mag i got they got hacked a couple of months ago so that you can make you system play any game and download the games for free, they said this hack would open it up for other hackers... but the first hack wasn't big enough to fully worry them...maybe they should have been a bit more worried!
