Well, of course it is! I made it on Monday in the slow cooker. It was meant for tomorrow night. Now he will have to come up with something for then, seeing as I came to the rescue tonight.

I agree about people saying they are only giving him one star because of his attitude - that's not cricket IMHO - if you read the book and don't like it, fair enough - but to give it a one out of spite is wrong."
Thanks, Sally.

We've woken to absolutely atrocious weather this morning! Cold, wet and totally miserable :( Anyone would think it's winter or something :/

Lol...didn't we pick the best day for our swap meet last week?! :)

Either that or I am just not feeling it.

Very wet and dreary in Sydney - my first day back at work after a lovely 4 day weekend away! Guess we were lucky to have such nice weather for the long weekend. Now back to reality....

The weather was glorious yes Carolyn. Have a nice (?) day back at work :/ At least you'll be inside, in the warmth of the air conditioning :)

Still on the sidelines Kathryn..going to keep trying. My problem is a fussy husband! Did porcupine balls last and they were yummy, though next time I'll add more soup towards the end :)
All recipes gratefully accepted ;)

I'll pop my beef curry recipe into the recipes thread in case you like curry - it's dead easy!

How many porcupines did you need for that Brenda!? :{

Yes please that'd be great! Actually no...do you want to make a thread for slow cooking recipes? That way we wouldn't lose them amongst the yummy sweet recipes;)

I'll never look at one the same way again! Poor little things....tricky business though!
...I'd be fussy too!!

Oops - think I'd typed it in before you typed this, Brenda! But that's a good idea. Will make one now.
And that's very funny about the porcupines, Julie!!
Thanks Kathryn - yes you did, but that's OK...great to keep a record for all of us. Plus the experts can post their favourites:)

I've created a slow cooker recipe thread here

(I know about these things...I watch Masterchef!!)
LOL! I converted it from a casserole recipe I do often Jools. But I have to tinker with it - the "meatballs" were a little dry so that's why I think I have to save some soup to add near the end:)

It's locked for me Michael - looks like I have to sign up. It looks like it's about football - can you enlighten us?
I got the correct page Michael, but there's a padlock over the top of each page - the page is shaded so you can't read it. To unlock the pages to read it, I have to sign in...

His picture is second from the right Marianne, but I can't read it because of it being faded out...
