Patti wrote: "Hmm tell me how the Perks of Being a Wallflower goes. The movie has some of my favorite actors in it and I was wondering how good the book would be."It was pretty good. The writing style kind of threw me off because the boy is supposed to be 16, but to me he sounds 7. But I did enjoy the story and I'm quite interested in how the movie will me.
I am now on to reading Never Have I Ever

Stark is another good one! When he first showed up I was like oh great not another male character for Zoey to fawn over, but he seriously deserves to be with her. Forget Eric and Heath and forget the love square, pick Stark!!

So far it's ok I have never read any of her other books before. And the Owl Keeper is hard to explain, it's new world order mixed in with magic and adventure.

!!!!!!!!"OMG I loveeee Shadowfever I finished it in two days.
I've heard a lot of good things about this book and I'm really excited to read it. But I'm worried it'll be like the Hunger Games...
Well, I'm reading Red Pyramid now. It's nice and a lot of facts. Read it people ! Any Riordan Book is nice. I'm gonna read Dark Flame by Alysson Noel after red pyramid. I'm so behind with the immortals series !
I'm currently reading The Beginning of After by Jennifer Castle. 85% read, just a few more chapters to complete. It's really good so far!
I finished
and just started
.I can see why people who liked Ender's Game may not care for Speaker. Though it does continue the story, it does so in a way that is vastly different from Ender's Game. Speaker (and Xenocide so far) doesn't even feel like YA to me. I didn't like it as much as Ender's Game, but that's a pretty high bar, so I'm not judging it too harshly for that.
Reading
. At first I wasn't liking it, because it's all very Twilight. He sort of stalks her, tries to kill her…but the romance is actually…sweet. Little skeptical on some parts (view spoiler) but I understand how Angelini wants to separate herself from other novels with the same themes (Rick Riordan anyone?)

I am reading Carroll Bryant's new release, last flight out. It is really good. This should be a group read. I bet we could get a real good debate going about this story.
Well
Right now I'm readin twilight. I had a teacher come up to me and tell me that she didn't think I was the twilight type of girl. I agreed. Itz ok so far...

Oh I loved Eon! Eona is even better, in a bitter sweet way. Being forced to read Murder on the Orient Express. I'm actually pretty happy about it. I'm a big Agatha Christie fan so it's finally a school book I can enjoy :)

Usually I research a book a bit befor getting it, but this one just kept pulling me towards it every time I went to a book store. Finally I saw it on sale and was like "oh the heck with it" and got it. MAN I hope it's a good book.

I loved it!!! Probably one of my favorites of 2011. It was magical in a strange, other worldly way, and I felt like I was in a dream the entire time. I didn't really know much about the plot when I started reading it, and I actually think it's better that way - everything is a surprise, and you don't really know what to expect.
