I've only read up to Branded by Fire but my money is on Kaleb as the ghost. Both of them seem to want the best for the Psy and are willing to accept that Silence is a necessary evil. Kaleb was dead set against the Iprotocol just like the Ghost - but this is just speculation.
*squee moment* I've avoided this thread for the past 5 months (and the NS group) cause I didn't want any spoilers/or to break into hives because MY COPY ISN'T SHIPPING yet...NOW IT IS! Happy, happy day! Tangle of Need is wending it's way through the Japanese archipelago...into my waiting hands! (And got notice a couple hours before that notice that my ipad mini has landed...and may be here tomorrow...not nice that I'm out all day, but my delivery guy knows when to catch me so fingers crossed...)

So keep in mind I'm a student in debt... so Wild Invitation is out soon and I want to pre-order (or should I even do that? I have read two out of the four stories...) but I don't know which edition to go with - the cheaper, sooner released
or the one which matches my entire collection... oh the image isn't on goodreads yet UK edition. In fact, I think I've decided myself, £2 is nothing in comparison to my sanity :P

Sandra, thanks for the blurb - I think this is going to be the most awaited book (aside from Hawke and Sienna, of course) for me. Why, oh why is it only February?

I feel this is a bit of a momentous occasion today. No, I'm not talking about the Amazon/GR news. This is much more I have bought my first hardback book.
And if you hadn't guessed it's 'Heart of Obsidian'. Pre-ordered, ready to arrive, ready to mess up my whole Psy-Changeling collection because it'll be so big and stupidly bulky.
Btw, has everyone seen the UK/Commonwealth cover - it's pretty darn nice if you ask me.

Congrats Josie, Kiss of Snow was my first conscious HC purchase, and I had to have the mmp edition to match the rest of my books as well. LOL.I've created the UK edition for you so you can switch to the correct edition ;)

Sooo... Nalini has announced that she's putting up a 2 chapter excerpt on Monday that will contain spoilers Excerpt Upcoming. Will anyone be reading???I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet. Do I wait for the book and risk a spoiler hunting me down to ruin everything? I feel it's different if you read it yourself straight from the source but second hand is just rubbish. What is everyone else doing?

As I don't have your strenght of character - I've read the excerpt. It doesn't really give away anything that wasn't to be expected at the end of ToN.I wouldn't think that this comment counts as spoilerish, but I wonder if it was wise to read the excerpt - because now I WANT the rest of the book!
Yep, that's always my problem when I go ahead and read teasers. Because that's all they do ... torment and tease us.

I know, me too. I refused to scroll down GR's page for the book to avoid any spoilers and so far I've resisted temptation to read an excerpt. Hopefully, our willpower will hold out over the next few days. Less than a week to go! Doing a happy dance.
The exact same thing happened with Shadowfever when I didn't read it for like a year after. In the end, although I managed to avoid spoilers (go me!), I got the book, was bored with the beginning, became weak and skipped to find out (view spoiler) and now still haven't got round to actually finishing the book...

LOL!It's definitely a must-read, but I know all hardcore Psy-Changeling fans will ASAP. Can't wait to share thoughts about it ... whenever ya finish, let's chat! With spoiler tags, of course! ;)

As far as Zaid goes - the idea of keeping him in cryonic suspension appeals to me too. I also have a feeling that Alice quite liked him. Oh really, I wonder how this is going to work out. Good thing is we only have a YEAR to wait for at least the next tidbit!
