Deanna - Divorced, Desperate And Dating

for "w" - any book with what, when, where, why, how............ And "f" - anything with the word "of", so that might open up some options.

The Children's Hospital by Chris Adrian, and
Set This House in Order: A Romance of Souls by Matt Ruff. <---- that was so hard to type! :oD I just have to do a little book shuffling, then I'm good to go.

Also, I wanted to check on the subtitle for A Lion Among Men: Volume Three in the Wicked Years. The link is the edition that I own, but most of the editions do not include the subtitle.

Cait, I recommend Set This House In Order. I really enjoyed it.

So glad Sara is short and sweet... and without extra silent letters...! I've got a lot of options!

And just to add a hi to everyone. I just joined :)"
Karen! Hi! :D

No, the letters in the title do not have to be in the same order as the letters in your name. As long as there are all of the same letters (and in the same quantities) of your name in the title, you are good to go!

Subtitles are fine. I see no problems with using this subtitle.

The "II" in World War II are roman numerals and not actually letters. So, they will not work as "i"s. Sorry. One book that might work for you if you haven't already read it yet: The Effect of Living Backwards. Also, don't forget you can use your middle or last name if you choose.

Lipstick Jihad: A Memoir of Growing Up Iranian in America And American in Iran is going be good?

Would this one work for me or would it have to actually be spelled out in the tittle."
That works. All of the letters in your name are in this title - and you just happen to be one of the lucky few where your name and title are actually the same!

As Sara noted, you don't have to use all three names - you can choose your first, middle OR last name. In looking at your first name, one book I came up with is City of Darkness, City of Light by Marge Piercy. Another is The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane. For Louw - All Quiet on the Western Front. Hope that helps.

Yep - subtitles work. This book looks fine.

Yes - that title works. Enjoy!

Thanks, I knew it didn't have to be all three names. I just have difficult names. Ironically, it has been easy to get the "f" and hard to get the "s" in the same title. Thank you for the suggestions! I will look into those books!

oh, Romeo and Juliet also works.. weee :)

Julie and Julia: My Year of Cooking Dangerously. One Thousand White Women: The Journals of May Dodd. Ophelia Joined the Group Maidens Who Don't Float: Classic Lit Signs on to Facebook (I recommend this one... it was hilarious)!

My name is Jayme with a M and not a N. I also found GwENwHYfaR:The White Spirit for Henry which is my last name

Another one that works for JELENA, if you haven't already read it (and it is a bit hefty) is [book:Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell.

That works.

Here are some I came up with for food for thought:
MEGHAN: Of Human Bondage, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell
MARIE: American Psycho, Shalimar the Clown: A Novel, Interpreter of Maladies, The Talented Mr. Ripley
MENO: Atonement, A Prayer for Owen Meany, Love in the Time of Cholera

You have Identical Strangers: A Memoir of Twins Separated and Reunited on your tbr, which works for your last name. :o)

Set This House in Order: A Romance of Souls by Matt Ruff.

Petra, I've been wanting to read it for quite some time now. I was going to use it for the Lit Map task, but I think I'll switch it to this one and read I'm Not Stiller for the Lit Map.

THANKS SO MUCH, CAIT! I have been wanting to read this book...

I'm a wee bit stuck - if anyone runs across a brilliant S T A C E Y or C A T H E R I N E book, please send a suggestion my way! Fortunately I am going on vacation soon, and vacation for me usually involves lots of time browsing bookstores, so I will keep my eyes open for a likely title.

lol, I still have to find it. If Borders has it, I might just sit in the book store and do that. I will let you know how it goes!

Read a book whose title includes all of the letters of your first, middle OR last name. Including sub-titles is fine, letters cannot be counted twice (i.e., if you have two of a certain letter in your name, the title must also have two of that letter), nick-names or shortened names are not accepted, and the letters in the title do not have to be in any particular order.
For example, my name is "Laura" so I could read "The G U e R nsey L iter A ry A nd Potato Peel Pie Society," "The Book of LAU ghte R A nd Forgetting," etc.
If you have questions about a name you want to use, please go to the help thread to get it approved.
REQUIRED: When posting your task, please include the name that you used for the task. If you do not wish to post your real name, you can use an anagram of the name in your post.
