The "Almost Clean Slate" Challenge [ENDED: 12/31/11]

This challenge was sparked by an idea I had while chatting in the "Firsts" challenge.

With all of these challenges we get into and all these series we start, it seems like we will never have a clean slate! That doesn't mean we can't try!

I want this challenge to be customized to any group member who wants to do it. So I think we should have levels.

Level 1: A Light Dusting
Finish 5 series you have in progress (in 5 months)
Duration August 1st - December 31st, 2010

Level 2: A Clean Sweep
Finish 10 series you have in progress (in 1 year)
Duration August 1st, 2011 - July 31st, 2011

Level 3: A Thorough Scrubbing
Finish 15 Series you have in progress (in 1 year and 5 months)
August 1st, 2010 - December 31st, 2011

You can use any series, even if you only have one book left.

You don't HAVE to read companion short stories but can if you want to.

If a new book comes out and you have the budget to buy it (or if you can borrow from the library) during the challenge duration, read that one too! :) I mean the point is to finish series right?

You can change your lists at any time.
You can post a pool and select ones to read.
You can post as you go.
Any series that you read the last released book of in August counts. :)
Any series that you start in August counts. :)

You can change the level to more at any time and if you want to read more than 15 total series go ahead. Bonus points to you (no actual points are given and no prizes awarded :-P )

Have fun! Get your series organized and clean up that TBR!

For format: Please post the name of series, author and the next book you have to read. Then when you complete a series strike out the series name like this
and keep a total of the ones you finish at the top of your list like 2/15 for an example

I did read the first Soul Screamers book... the prequel rather. I guess I could put those in here. That was a very different kind of series. I could continue it. I also read the prequel to Angel's Blood but it was just okay. If I read the actual book 1 before the end of the year and like it enough to continue the series I could put that in here too.

I hope this is okay but this year I have been having a clear out of books sat on my shelves for a couple of years. Most of these were the first books in a series, so my list of series to finish is quite long. However may plan for next year is to try and get through as many of these series I've started as I can and as 'Thorough Scrubbing' goes through until December 2011 I thought I'd list all my series. I'm going to aim for 15 as required but am really hoping to get more.
