Wed did not chase him off. He acted in a bizarre way, we called him on it, and then he stopped posting.

Cynthia's rules seem contradictory.

Minions should be neither seen nor heard. They should grant wishes in a swift, efficient, and stealth-like manner.

Hope you're having a great birthday!

message 1767: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24778 comments Mod
I'm not familiar with that one.

message 1768: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Grunion are two fish species of the genus Leuresthes: the California grunion, L. tenuis, and the Gulf grunion L. sardinas. They are sardine-sized teleost fish of the Atherinopsidae family of New World silversides, found only off the coast of California, USA, and Baja California, Mexico where the species is found on both the Pacific Ocean and Gulf of California coasts. Many people enjoy catching grunion at events called "Grunion Runs."

Almost:
Rule number one: it's your birthday until you go to sleep.
Rule number two: everyone has to do everything you say.

I need a haircut so bad I'm embarrassed to go to the salon. I feel like they're gonna say, "Girl, you waited too long. We can't do anything for you anymore. Sorry. Have a nice day."

I had that situation today. Now my hair is very short. But that is because they usually get excited by my curls and diffuse the whole heap into a tight little lady perm. Not a fan.

Also, there is way too much product in my hair and it feels all gooiecky.

I want to go short but not super short. I don't want a pixie cut or anything like that, I just want it to be mostly off my neck. Maybe longer layers on bottom, shorter layers atop, a wedge shape?

I haven't been able to find anything like it on the internets. All the hair pix on the internets are so samey, it's like a bunch of lemmings posted them.

I now have a wedge. Super short on top and longer sides. Off my neck because it is ungodly hot in our new house.

That's what I need. I'm not sure my hair is right for it though, my hair is not fine. It has some texture (but it's not curly).

Honestly, my hair is rightfully bugging me right now on myriad levels. It was too shaggy. Now it is too 80's looking. There is a weird hole in the perimiter of my haircut and my nose is incredibly long and not retrousse at all.

Lobstergirl | 24778 comments Mod
A hole in the perimeter? Ha!

Actually that cut is very 1989. Very cutting edge 1989.

It still looks good, though! Don't get me wrong.

OH MY Sally, we are so like sisters here. I hate too much product and I do not go for the diffuser. The only way to deal with my curl/frizz is to let it air-dry. I have been telling my stylist this for 20 years. Still she was ask me if I want to diffuse or if I want her to Straighten My Hair today. What?

I had a similar cut for many years, but more stacked in the back. The nape of my neck had to be shaved a tiny bit to make the stack look right. Too high maintenance, especially in the heat.

When someone refers to something that is not a novel, as a novel. I just read a review of a book about how to write a bestseller that began, "I was intrigued by the premise of this novel."

From the Trib's front page (web). The one sentence article summary under the headline.

"The NFL-hyped matchup of Jay Cutler and the reloaded Bears verses his Packers' counterpart Aaron Rodgers fizzled as Green Bay man-handled Chicago 23-10."

Really? Verses?
