I'm like in a gazillion challenges already in the RRRC group but I'll think I may find a way to do a challenge here too! I'll just need to think how to do it. :)

Ok, here's my challenge:

Read 11 books, at least 10 from my TBR
Two of the books must have at least 400 pgs.
Read at least 1 book from 5 different series

Thanks again. :) I don't have a goal of books read for the month so I thought I should use that here. I read only 9 books in August so pushing myself to read at least reading 11 will be good - doable but not really easy. Also, I'll make sure to fit some of the longer books. ;)

No, you don't have to list them ahead of time, but do list them as you go, please. That way other participants with a similar challenge might get some ideas, or if someone sees a book they were interested in, they can ask you about it.

I'm trying to keep all of the challenges in this group easily doable. I know that doesn't sound very challenging, but we're all in a different place when it comes to reading and for some people getting 4 books read is quite a fete because their lives are so crazy. I just wanted to create challenges where EVERYONE could participate and have a chance at completing them.

I just recently left that group. i wasn't spending as much time there and I have enough other groups to chat in. Plus, it is my thing to chat about the Brothers in most of my other groups... although I haven't in all of them, like the parlor. But if someone mentions them, I will definitely talk about them!
I am excited for crave too and want to read it at some point next month. I hope its better than Covet, although I didn't hate covet, I gave it 4 stars.

No, I am not up to speed anymore on the Brothers since I haven't lurked on the message boards and am not in the group any more. What's the theory.

Nissie and Alycia... yeah, I got "the letter" telling me that they require ex amount of posts, etc. In fairness to them, they had sent out a reminder a few months before that and I don't even think I posted after that. It was a good group, but as I told the moderator, I'm not really reading a whole lot of PNR these days so that's why I hadn't been visiting the group. She thanked me for not getting nasty, which I thought was sweet!

Sounds like the parting was amicable. I don't read as much pnr either. I want to stick to a few authors, but I enjoy other romance genres more now.

Oh yes, I knew all about payne and manny. I didn't attend the last live chat. That's funny about the were and kinda obvious/cliche? I am sure the Warden will make it entertaining. She could always do a spin off series there too and it opens up a whole new story line to keep the BDB books fresh.

Yep, that's me... I like reading other things more. Historical Romance and Romantic Suspense are my favorites. I'll always read the WARDen and Christine Feehan, Sherrilyn Kenyon... maybe some others that I'm not thinking of... but very few.
