September's Build Your Own Challenge
I'm going to have to bow out of this one. I read 3 of my 4, but just get through this Kathleen Woodiwess book. I'm just not in the mood for a big epic serious drama and it's too tedious. I'll have to try again for the October one! :)

Three are a trilogy I'll start and complete.
Two will be authors I've never read before - Elizabeth Hoyt and Sarah McClean.
Two are series I'm catching up on, I-Team by Pamela Clare and EliteOPS by Lora Leigh

5 - The Leopard Prince - Elizabeth Hoyt - Done
6 - Nine Rules to Break When Romancing a Rake- McClean, Sarah Done
7 - Black Jack – Lora Leigh - Done
8 - The Serpent Prince- Elizabeth Hoyt
9 - The Ranger – Rhonda Nelson - Done
Oohh, only The Serpent Prince left! I liked that one (mostly)!

Linds, I'm having a hard time sticking to my list. I had picked books I really wanted to read, but it's the mood changes... right now I want to sink my teeth into a really good RS, but I have to read my HR first. So I totally, totally understand.Thanks for participating, though! You did good! :)

I'm thinking of starting Midnight Man? I'm not sure how it falls into that category, but I have it here and have been wanting to read it.

I just looked at the tags and a lot of them said erotic or erotic-romance. I think it's still RS though! No, I haven't read it yet. I was just trying to find which book you were talking about so I could read the summary. I just wanted to make sure I had the right one.

I've read it and although it may be tagged as erotica, I think these days that would be called a hot romance. There's a lot of sex and explicit language but no overly kinky stuff. It's a decent story...I still need to read #3 in that series.

Also, I haven't been reading that many long books (all around 350 pgs. or less) so I've been reading fast! It will be different next month!

I don't think I'll be doing a Spell the Month next month, though it's an option for the Build Your Own, non-PNR edition. I'll be reading so many PNR books that I can't commit to an 8 letter month challenge.
I'm already committed to read 10 books at the Romance Reading Challenge group. Some of them I can read for the challenge here too but it will be a real challenge to complete both!
I always try to make the challenges flexible enough that they can somehow work for other challenges as well, so hopefully you'll be able to do that. I love seeing what everyone is reading!Just a heads up for everyone - November's challenge SHOULD be easy because there will be levels you can commit to. I'll be posting something in about a week, because I'll need input from everyone to make it successful.
Good idea, Dhestiny!We do levels at the RRRC group but because October is my birthday month, I'd like to do all 10. :)
Thanks, D.G. I know that November/December are going to be crazy busy months for people, so I'm going to try and keep both months light.I didn't know about the levels in RRRC. I do some challenges there, but not many.
